If they porridge was made using GM wheat in the US, it hits your glucose level harder than sugar. If that tuna salad was made with some mayo in the US, it has HFCS.

I'm not saying it's an excuse, but with a bit of research, you can figure out what to and what not to eat. It's just unfortunate that there are so many chemicals in food now that something that would be healthy (porridge, tuna salad) might actually make you fatter.

Also, this is why you never buy prepackaged food.

Even with those chemicals etc, the diet I recommended would not make you fat. Unless you were eating them in ridiculous quantities, which may be possible in America!

If you've never met a forum member - I'll assume you're lying

Energy >>> Biology >> Genetics

Don't make excuses. Fuck a mouse. Calories in calories out, energy dictates all, fattys can't use that generic crap anymore, it effects less then 2% of people whom are obese.

Less Energy in ...More Energy out. Its that simple

Oh I agree that in moderate quantities they won't make you fat. However, they will make it harder to lose weight. Harder, but not impossible.

^This.

Periphery shopping, bros. Don't buy stuff from the center isles. Anything worth eating is in the walled areas of the story (generally speaking).

For me, I buy raw or frozen meats, unprocessed (except sausage as a treat, maybe eat it once or twice every two weeks).
Fresh vegetables.
Fresh fruits.
Spices and a few processed sauces (yes, I break my own rule with these).
Fresh milk and orange juice.
Lots of beer (this is my junk food choice). I drink a few bottles a week on average.

That's it.

I don't drink any pop/soda (it's one of the worst things you can put in your body).
I don't consume candy, except if I have a sore throat.
I don't eat potato chips, except on rare occasion (tortilla chips more occasionally, but plain with homemade salsa, none of this Doritos stupidity. Doritos are super expensive for what you actual get and have a massive number of calories, with next to no nutrition. With plain tortilla chips, the salt content might be high, but the salsa IS nutritious and delicious).
Only real (100% juice) fruit juices. A lot of stuff marketed as fruit juices are no better than pop/soda on a lot of levels.
Drink water when thirsty when I have had enough milk and beer for one day.

"I can count on one hand, literally, the number of women I have ever met that can take that kind of advice, accept it and make use of it without their epic egos setting metaphorical fire to the conversation.

Most women "looking for advice" are in reality looking for someone to validate their cosmic victimhood, because it's not really their fault, because it's never their fault. This behavioural trait isn't absent among men, but when we fail society cares not, while when women fail there is no shortage of comforting platitudes on offer from every vector.
