The best way to get ready is to be ready.

Don't look at game like Clark Kent / Superman.. be Tony Stark. He's Iron Man all the time and is probably getting more ass than Superman.

You want to move away from being on or being off. Get to a point where you are on all the time. There is no show. You've become the real deal and there is no game. You don't need to amp up your state because you are always on. You've internalized everything. You exhale game and inhale pussy.

You don't have a boring day job, because.. well, it's boring and you know how short life is so you want to make the most of it.

You look up in the sky, and where other people see "the sun" you see a gigantic perpetual nuclear explosion. You can see life from a higher vantage point. You can look down from the mountain and watch other guys toiling with shadows.

You flow on the fibre optic connection while everyone else is doing dial-up.

Build towards a place where you don't need to get warmed up. If you need to drink that bad that you feel like you have to sneak shit into clubs, I think that's a sign that you are picking the wrong venues or aren't fulfilling your highest potential.

Smuggling drinks is just not compatible with Class in any way IMHO.

It was fun when I was a child, but it seems childish to continue this in adolescence.

But I guess I am one of those dance floor guys, who just doesn't sees the need for a drink. It's more for the talkers.

Interesting, I find I need booze the most when Im on the dance floor. Talking to girls sober is cake but dancing sober is not for me.

Not so much into venues but I have a way of smuggling alcohol into countries that charge through the nose (looking at you Scandinavia). I have a letter authorizing me to carry medical supplies including IV fluids (never know when we are going to get sent to some Third World shithole (read as sub-Saharan Africa) with no real medical so we bring it with us). We stick a few extra bags in the case but they are instead filled with clear liquor. The bottles can be rinsed out and scattered between the bags. I've never had a problem with customs this way. Then again, in most of Africa, I tend to abide by the rule that to survive any airport you need two bottles of good whiskey: one for you and one for the customs officers. I still have a guy who just smiles and waves me through in Lagos after I gave him a really nice bottle for being nice to me.

What made me think of this is that we used to use the IV bag trick to smuggle booze into the Indy 500. We would tape them to one of the girls' stomachs to make her look like she was pregnant. No one (except maybe the TSA) is going to frisk a pregnant woman.

There used to be this dude on xanga (sort of like a livejournal, blogger alternative for Asian kids in the early 2000's) that went by the handle of "snuckinabottle". He was notorious for sneaking bottles into the Korean clubs in LA. Guy had the funniest stories.

I've snuck in alcohol a few times, but I'm kind of with soup here in that it kind of takes away from the point of going out in the first place. I guess if you're really watching your budget or you go out all the time, this could pay some long term dividends, but I'd have to think you're going 2-3x a week to really get any substantial savings from this.

If you cant afford the booze at the venue, stay home. These clubs dont run on themselves, by paying for booze youre paying for the salaries of the people working there, and everything else. The more people do this, the more are the prices going to go up. I am a manager of a club myself and I swear nothing annoys me more. Get the club on lockdown and I'm sure you'll get taken care of.

I only really ever bought booze at clubs just to have something to hold onto while yakking at girls.
Sometimes I could get the girls to go buy me stuff, but not every time.
Basically, we would just pre-funk somewhere, maybe the parking lot, go in, get a drink just to blend in, then go from there.
Other times I would steal drinks, at first because I was poor, and then from the high I would get from it.
Haven't been to the clubs in years though.

I'll go and say it. Only once in my life have I gotten a bar on lock down and it was because of me riding off of the coat tails of two bitties I was friends with at the time. I don't see the point of getting a bar "unlocked". Not to mention the "massive" DHV is totally over blown. It comes off as, "so someone spends an inordinate amount of time at a bar." Which to be quite honest is a massive red flag to me that someone likes to go out a lot. It comes off as, lacking hobbies outside of work and drinking.

Not to mention, there has not been a single bar that has ever won me over enough to frequent so many times that the bar tenders give me free drinks. I like venue hoping. And finally the majority of male bar tenders tend to come off as arrogant cock blockers. I don't get favors often and don't come to expect them. Not worth my investment.

I'll pass and continue to sneak in a flask to spike my coke. Don't worry, you'll get a 3$ tip for the soda.

I bring a 5oz / 150ml hipflask with me every night I go out. That's small enough that I don't even notice it in a jeans pocket but 150ml of vodka in decent clubs in London is four £5 shots (if not more). That's £40 a weekend saved. £2000/$3200 a year saved.

15 litres of vodka covers this a year, that runs about £100 buying duty free on my way home from holidays. So overall saving of £1900 / $3000 a year for the sake of 2minutes of effort before every night out, and 5min in duty free a few times a year.

Seems like a good deal to me!
