So, I'm in Manila now. I'm concurrently using FC and Tinder.

First impressions of Tinder - tons of trannies. Seriously. I think FC rules them out, or lets people report and removes them, but Tinder is wild wild west. That said, I still find it useful - but I think doing FC + Tinder at the same time is the way to go.

Yeah tinder is great in Philly, overall. You can do some swipes in the morning and have 1-2 dates lined up for the night, without too much effort. Almost every swipe is a match. Its crazy. The quality of women is great. You can be selective here. Lot of trannies and pro's though but they are easy to spot and most of them seem honest about it on their tinder profile.

Compared to Sweden where you need to swipe like a madman all day to hopefully get a match...with a fat vegan feminist.

I'm glad to read this thread, so much information. Where would you recommend me to stay for the first week in Manila? I have never been to Asia before and don't know what to expect really. Should I choose a hotel or hostel, where I can meet some locals and other travelers?
