Consul makes an interesting point. Namely, sex in marriage might dry up, but just as well it might not. It really depends on your game and your wife's personality (hopefully you picked someone nice and caring), but in general always having a woman whom you've fucked before and have good experiences with around can't be underestimated in the sense of how much easier to "game" and get sex it is.
And extrapolating from that, many beta herbs who live in involuntary celibacy and get a bj once every 10 years would not experience any more sex than that if they were single.

Good point. I also think that some guys are just lousy lovers and don't satisfy their women enough for them to want to have sex.
I remember telling my ex wife, in a casual conversation, if my needs weren't met, I would get them met somewhere else.

I absolutely agree with this point. When you're in a marriage, the "game" theory (pun intended) of seeking sex changes because you are both repeat players in the same game.
If you're never going to see her again, it does not matter how well you performed. But in marriage, it matters a lot. A good performance can make her want it a lot more.
When I first got married, I was very beta in bed. Over time, I learned from her, and from experience, that especially when she's ovulating she wants you to be a wild, forceful brute in bed. Some of my wife's friends talk about how lousy their husbands are in bed. It definitely has an impact on whether they view it as a chore.

Now, honestly, marriage is plain boring. There's nothing to look forward to except for kids. Then you start thinking of buying a bigger place where you can have a family. Then paying bills. And your wife suddenly becomes your biggest concern and priority. It's just not worth it.
Ultimately we need to do what is best for us as men, and you cannot find it in marriage.
Oh and then there's sex... what used to be your greatest drive and rush now simply doesn't exist anymore. As the saying goes: it's game over. I called it quits.
I'd be ok with sex twice a week or so. It's the constant bitching and complaining that turns me off though. I see my friends go through it over trivial little shit. Women want everyone to feel their pain. That's why they bitch. If you get pissed off they get validation. You gotta deal with women with a cool hand. Like you're above it all. Which you are

WIA- your abs right.
Demeanor, compatibility, and emotional stability >>> hotness. I need a girl whos fairly stable and doesnt go off the rails. This eliminates 99.9% of women.
Only one i've found to be acceptable is 1 japanese chick. Total cutie, very limited exposure to American culture, barely spoke english, had all japanese friends, and thought i was "extremely good looking".
This is out of 1000s of girls I've met.
Nice deep post WestIndianArchie good stuff my friend! Echoed many of my own thoughts.
