Anyone participating? An official website says that the motto is "changing the face of men's health." The underlying theme of it all is to raise awareness for men's diseases, particularly prostate and testicular cancer.

A side benefit is you can save $ on razors and it gives you an excuse to grow a beard if you'd like.

I finally shaved my stache in October and people say that I look different.

I'm doing it just because I had to see that pink crap on the football field all October. Also because issues that affect men as we all know are largely ignored or marginalized in this country so when people ask why I'm not shaving I'll tell them.

In the UK its called movember and you basically grow a moustache, to raise money to support mens health problems i.e. testicular cancer etc
