Words/Phrases Men should never say
Using certain worst or phrases can definitely make you seem less manly and beta. Here are a list of words to avoid at all costs ...

-Whoopsy
-BFF
-Tummy
-yummy
-Bye-bye ( as opposed to just bye)
-The first name of any female celebrity when you don't follow it with her last name, "Miley," or "Britney" for example
-hey-there
-Yell-o (when answering the phone)
-kay (as opposed to ok)
-Upset (to describe your feeling of discontent)
-daddy (instead of dad)
-"That's offensive" or " That was inappropriate"
-"I feel like" instead of "I think"

Feel free to add your own !

What's wrong with the word upset? I'm asking as a non-native speaker.

I don't buy into this. Language is used as a tool to get what you want. Using "I feel like" is very potent in the correct situation. So is the word "upset". When people call on the phone and I say "Yell-o", I say it in a way like, "Yeeeeell-o" indicated right off the bat that I don't give a shit about what they're about to say to me.

I guess I'm beta

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

I dislike "hate". I don't know why. For some reason I can write the word but never say it.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

I agree with "I feel like" being potent in certain situations. What I was referring to was men using i feel like in mundane conversations like ... " I feel like we should get Chinese instead of Mexican" .

Please give me an example where it is okay for a man to say he's "upset". With the exception of saying "upset stomach" using the word to describe your feelings is feminine !

RE: Words/Phrases Men should never say
I've noticed this pop culture thing where people (mainly women but some guys as well) like to modify their voice to go up an octave or two and say "awkward", while applying it to just about anything.

Sort of like that guy in Mortal Kombat would pop up in the corner and say "toasty" but sounded like whoop tee-dee. He'd only do it sometimes, after a special move. Was extremely annoying.

Anyways, I'm convinced dudes who do that might as well watch Ellen.

I'll argue for using 'creepy' against women: it's their magic word to dismiss any man they can't be bothered with, and they know it, so when it's used against them, they lose their shit. So much trolling potential there.
