If you want something tactical, bright and blinding, the thinking is that it should turn on to just the bright mode and turn on and off as soon as you hit the button, no fiddling with settings or other modes.

If you want something to light up the night on walks, getting home etc. then get something with dimming and bells and whistles.

Disagree, strobe is by far the best mode vs would-be attackers.

Try the Olight S1A, it's a triple tap for strobe so not ideal but it's compact and bright as hell.

Picked up the AAA ThruNite. Going to see how much I use it first before upgrading to a full sized EDC flashlight.

The next part is just C/P from another thread but I'm going to be carrying my water around more regularly.

Also picked up recently a Klean Kanteen Wide 40 oz. water bottle. The lid is plastic but the part that touches water is full metal so only metal touches the water in it.

I thought the Nalgene metal bottle is a better design but the lid is still plastic and made of a material called tritan that claims to be BPA free but isn't.

Any suggestions for a wallet that can hold/ conceal 2-3 condoms? ...and still not get too thick & bulky? (credit card holder / money clip sized preferred, but would consider regular size).

I carry my wallet in front pocket (so sitting on them and damaging is not a concern).

I know rawdogging is the true minimalist option, but for the true bar slut or anything at all questionable, it's nice to have the option of condoms readily on hand without having planned ahead.

(open to hearing other "condom carrying" solutions, I suppose, but I don't really want to carry an extra little case or something, or silly bulky keychain case)

*2 is the minimum, 1 would just mean that I'll end up rawdogging on the second round. And it's often handy to have a 3rd I've found. Either one will break, or it might be occasionally nice for a 3rd round in the am.

Just slip it into your back pocket. You can carry two in there quite easily.

I typically leave them in my jacket pocket in any months that I would need to wear a coat (in Canada, this is 6-8 months out of the year), in summer, I just put it in the back pocket.

I don't advice leaving rubbers in your wallet as they degrade quicker if not in use often.

Things get bulky after two, three is a good number just in case you want to bang in the morning. But if you are planing for that, three rounds +, then bring her back to your place where you have your stashed reserves.

I have a small case from an old pair of earphones just big enough to hold a few rubbers and test boosters. It's a black soft shell with a zipper, and doesn't attract attention if I take it out of my pocket.

Or you can just count on ye olde convenience store...
