Alright, I've talked to a fair number of girls and none seem to be interested. I'm not overly boring. I've been told I'm an interesting conversationalist or 'smart' by some, I'm not bad in the looks department, and I'm over 6 foot with a slim to normal build.

It seems like I get blown off because girls think I'm really beta or something, like I'm overly polite. It's like they just think I'm some boring model guy, they either want to be 'just friends' or they want to pursue a monogamous clingy romantic relationship which I do not want. I've have two already that weren't very good, and that's two too many. I find it difficult to hold a conversation with an average girl because they usually don't want to talk about anything besides some really basic crap. What is the solution to this?

Do I not act fast enough and get to the point or what.



Also, what are some captivating openers? I know it's suggested to have a really interesting story, but eh... What if you hit on some girl's friend and she repeats the story? That would be lame.

Edit: If we talk a while and they want to 'date' I'll say no and get the "you don't like me/I'm ugly" etc and they make me feel bad about it. :/
And yes I am a noob at game, that is why this is posted in the Newbie Forum, although I have read up on some things...

The key is to keep the conversation light and breezy, with a few teasing comments here and there (not too much, you can usually judge after the first comment if she responds well, if so, throw a couple more into the mix)
Make statements, with the occasional question thrown in here and there, banter with her
If you're not a natural conversationalist, 'threading' is a great way to keep things flowing naturally, without much effort
And of course, kino, there has to be at least some kino during your chat, even if it's only light kino, no kino means the chances of anything happening are slim
And be social in general, get used to saying hello and making conversation with chicks at work, in shops, cafés, etc - this will make it easier when it comes to gaming girls, cos you'll be used to chatting to women anyway

Get your mind right first. Captivating openers? Interesting stories? Forget about that for now. You need confidence. The magic spell openers won't work with a flat delivery.

You going to need to embrace rejection for a little so that you're no longer afraid to fail. Don't worry about the opener. You can start a conversation with anything. Walk up to a girl with purpose and say "Hello." You say you're a smart guy. Well, smart guy, use your mind to observe the world around you. It can find something to talk about, and let your instinct take over. And don't forget to the basics of escalation- get her alone, touch her, and bounce. Go get 'em.
