I'm not great at in detail planning.
But i really don't feel like hanging around home for the holidays.

What places do you all know of that I could go on short notice..considering the winter holiday period is right around the corner?

I figure I have three questions.

Where can I go that would be worthwhile?
(im up for pretty much anywhere except Asia..its just not on my list of places to go)

Is it gonna drain my bank to spend a week or two there?(flight,food,fun ,transportation)

Where would I stay?
such as Hostels,Hotels,couch surfing?

Any ideas?
