It's true what she says about the character of British men in general. Very reserved, petrified of approaching. That said, it doesn't address in which country the elite level is superior.

I maintain that being British, I've got an inherent subtlety and dry wit which an American can never hope to compete with, with all their brash broggadacio. It's never going to be possible to get a fair comparison however, because when travelling to other countries you've always got the benefit of being foreign.

I think the English are less aggressive (only speaking about London) and less direct in conveying sexuality. They are not physically very imposing and a bit timid. But Americans also tend to lack wordplay humour and sharp wit. On a side note Australians have dry wit, though less sophistication in content than the English. More likely to bully other guys they don't know, attempt to steal other girls from guys, and generally make the atmosphere more competitive - tall poppy syndrome makes any successful guy a target.

You can always judge the game of men by looking at the behavior of women.

Like Que said, Brit men tend to be timid and not very imposing, so the women (especially up north, my god) are aggressive and direct. In the US, we have an extroverted, superficial game culture, so women have developed complex labyrinths of shit tests as a natural response. In Italy, where the men are by far the most physically aggressive in Europe in terms of touching and displaying attraction, women are generally on lockdown and hard to get.

Good point. That guy from Good Looking Loser would be met with derision if he tried his be-dumb-as-dogshit style of direct conversation in the better parts of the UK. No doubt London vs LA at least there is a different expectation from women on level of intellect they would like to see from a man.

Well I'm sold, 80 post in and this guy has convinced me that he has an inherent subtlety with a dry wit that I'll never be able to contend with.
