Vegas is good but hotels get super jacked up. I had a good time in San Francisco for New Years last year, its got a New York kind of feel to it with everyone out on the streets in a compact area but its not as cold.

Least I could have done was say the name of the place in san francisco where I stayed, my bad guys. Its a boutique hotel called "The Whitcomb" rooms are kind of tiny but youre going to have that with most boutique hotels. The public transportation up there is awesome too. Hop on the BART (the train up there) and youre good to go from the airport to your hotel.

I think at the end of the day any major city you end up in youre going to have a good time. Everyone is specifically out that night to have fun so its hard not to.

Vegas all the way baby! It just surpassed NYC a couple years ago as the number one destination for Americans for NY eve. My favorite NY eve ever was def. in LV. The one behind it was Guarapari Brazil and then Aspen, CO, but only because I get invited to a ridiculously baller party every year where the dude spends probably 500k on the party.

Living in Vegas in the past I totally agree with you and you can have a great time no doubt in Vegas (my best New Years have for sure been there) but youve definitely got to make sure you have a game plan in place. The problem with Vegas compared to other major cities is you dont have much mobility once you select where you want to go which is greatly enhanced on New Years. Any of the clubs or lounges are gonna have a pretty hefty cover that night so wherever you end up youre pretty much stuck for the night so choose wisely.

We buy a suite at on of the ill hotels and invite mad homies and ladies there. We bring the party to us. That's the only way to do it. Go out and celebrate by where you are for a little bit on the strip, and find some girls to bring back to your suite. There are plenty of girls down to party on the strip in a suite for new years eve.

Now that I cant disagree with, definitely a strong move. Plus with the suite you can get use out of that multiple days as opposed to dropping a stack at a club for one night.

I spent last New Year's in Punta Del Este.

It was a great experience, you have all of the gorgeous Argentine and Brazilian women celebrating, and since January/February is summer/high season there, the beach is absolutely flooded with beautiful women. Smile

coffee is for closers.

The problem with Punta del este is that if you are not pulling up on a yacht, or are a recognized International soccer star, you will be AT the party, but never IN the party. Get my drift? Those girls are the most stuck-up in the world all bunched up in one location looking more for attention than sex. You will see a TON of models everywhere - don't count on any lays unless you can prove stardom, and high status connects.

hey, if anyone wants to plan a vegas NYE bash, count me in!
