An interesting radio program was on NPR earlier this week and I thought it was worth a listen. A lot of the points made by the author of the book discussed are things we've heard before in articles by Athlone. For instance, the fact that upper middle class career women depend on a veritable "servant class" of poorer women to take on household duties in their stead.

(Since it's NPR the perspective is obviously more "blue" if you will...)
