Stick your leg out and trip her. Then after she lands on her face, in Steve Urkel fashion say, "did I do that?" Then transition into game. Two of my friends met their wives this way.

Seriously, I was just thinking of this the other day. I was riding bike, saw a 9 jogging, bored, with F*ing earbuds in, she made eye contact looked down indicating submission, and I just feel apprehensive (RAFC I know) motioning about the earbuds to stop her...

Any ideas for how to feel less intrusive?

There's this long bike path that runs up Oahu's North Shore where I run.

It's kind of become a place to be seen and for folks to mingle. Now that waves are coming, all the surf groupies are rolling in too. The bike path is packed around sunset time.

Usually what I do with the ipod girls is just start running next to them. Keep it fun. Think back to the years you spent at recess or in gym class. Run past the girl, slow down, then turn around and wave for her to catch up to you.

Something that's real important when you're trying to land chicks at the bike path: You gotta be in shape!!! Except for those marathon runner women, I'm sure there's almost no girl that can beat me. Also, if you're running and you're all sweaty and gnarly, there gonna call the cops about the guy chasing them, no matter how good your game is when you catch her.
