That being said, a word of advice for anybody is this: if you have heard from multiple, disinterested parties that you are too X, or too little Y, they are most likely on to something. Feminists love to cough up the fact that they are perceived as bitches and lacking positive energy - as the article states, they take great pride in that.

Narcissists, when called out for their narcissism, will always be proud of it. They see themselves as superior to those weaklings who have emotions and care for others. They will always complain, loudly, if they have to take care of others, as those acts are not in furtherance of their self-identity.

At the end, Laurie Penny closes with a gem about how when she gets positive male attention, she is at her most vulnerable. At that moment, she senses she is about to have a real connection to another person - a man. That is too much for her rickety sense of self to handle, so she falls back on all sorts of emotionally draining feminists talking-points to avoid what otherwise might have been her first real moment as a human being.

This is so typical of the female character, a total denial of any ownership. Sometimes I can't believe what fluff-headed children some of these women are. Oopsie, people hate us! Must be those darned stereotypes again. Obviously it's nothing we've done, we're innocent little fluffy white rabbits! Life is so unfair!

Firstly, what liberation? She wrote an entire article without substance, she's literally complaining that too few women are complaining. Female complaint has reached a new level of meta complaint. Wow.

Second, if women were marginalized in any way, who would refer to their "liberation" as a lifestyle choice, as though it were an accessory to wear at an upscale decadent Roman occasion.

It's always terrible to see the word "fuckable" or "fucking" or any derivation of "fuck" used by these people. I rarely cringe at anything but they bring death to that word.
