I'm getting ready to buy my ticket for Lviv Ukraine ( Western Ukraine, near Poland) for late Nov. and trying to lay groundwork for meeting some women there.

There is a group of some kind (241 people) who have "liked" the city, but I can't tell how to get a listing.

Also, is there no way to just take a look at the people in facebook who've listed their residence as Lvov, or is that
locked down?

From what I've seen, Lugansk in Eastern Ukraine has prettier women, or it might just be a bigger city. However, Lvov is quite pretty, more like a Central European city, somewhat ( 2 hours) near mountains and closer to Western Europe.

I'm only going for a week so I don' want to run around too much and end up just being exhausted. I might go to Southern Poland if I get bored.

Lviv has a ballet corps...

I think this is so transparent (hey, I'm a foreign guy visiting your city for one week looking for a quick lay, no strings attached) that it it is likely to elicit good response only from golddigers, sluts, girls like that basically. So you might as well get a hooker, I'm sure they are pretty cheap there.
There will be a lot of nice girls there which you should be able to meet and game easily the old-fashioned way. Or maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

facebook is hard. i did this on myspace with bulgaria and got 2 lays, both great girls and hot. but its a numbers game. you have to send out a lot of emails. copy paste send, repeat.

Do couchsurfing and find a foreign dude who lives there who has a social network of some sort. Based on my experience, if he is around our age and unmarried he is generally playing the game and knows what he is doing locally. It worked for me in Lithuania.

You don't have to live with the dude, in fact that would probably fuck up your logistics of banging.

Screen candidate by pics, profile, etc. You know how it is. Dont go for couchsurfing chicks, they are usually pretty grubby.

In my experience for Eastern Europe, this was the best way to get an automatic wingman with social proof locally.

Couple of things.

I have heard Ukrain is horrible for female "players" if you will. A good friend of mine spent some time there and said that even in the smaller towns these girls are real good at spotting the foreign guys,suckers and non connected people, playing up the role of nice college student from a good background in need of some help etc. Really they just want some doe and maybe they will bang you maybe not..either way as long as you know what to expect, no harm no fowl I guess.

I'm with youngmobile, as far as having a guy friend to help you. I mean, you don't have to necessarily hit couchsurfing, but finding a dude with similar interests to yours, a guy who is "cool" and knows some friends is a good way to meet quality girls. If you build a report with another guy who you can atleast trust a little, he will be able to help you cut through the BS of your trip esp. with money and bitches, two things that can change with the cultures. If maybe you want more than a quick bang atleast this is the best method.

Try tagged.com for most countries in Eastern Europe. I'm going to Lithuania in just over a week and have a few girls in the pipeline. Since I'll only be in the country for 4 days, it's going to dramatically increase my chances of getting some action. Facebook is poor for this stuff, since you can't browse for girls by town/city. Myspace is better (and still seems quite popular in E.Europe) and like I said Tagged.com is also good.

Dunno about that ... most of the girls I've had positive replies from seem pretty decent but obviously I can't say for sure until my trip.

I'm staying in hostels this time around and I'll see how the online meetup thing works; I'll probably couchsurf next time though.

On facebook go to the search engine at the top, click on 'people' on the left and it allows you to filter by location. So just type your destination into it and it will return people who have that city as their 'hometown' or 'current location'. I'm heading to South America early next year and have started this approach for a few of the cities there.

There is not a lot of them. Lviv is tough for players, as most people there are religious. Not like in US when they go to church on Sundays and then have affairs the rest of the week - quite a lot of girls there actually stay virgin until the marriage. It is a good spot if you're looking for LTR, but for one night stands there are better places.

I talked about it with some locals and we couldn't come with a single reason a girl in Lviv would have a facebook page except she's a golddigger targeting foreigners.

actually my experiences have shown that the majority of girls that i met had facebook accounts just like americans did, not to meet foreigners

I actually have had girls that I met on Mamba, send me friend requests on facebook. They are usually university students that know enough English to communicate. These are Russian girls though, not sure about Ukraine.

i had great luck with Myspace but that was about 3 years ago. Myspace was easier because you could see more info (city, more pics, etc). But last time i was overseas was about a year ago (June 09) and all the Bulgarian girls I met as well as some from other countries had Facebook accounts.
