Great article on Mike whom just finished 23 years abroad and has laid claim to spending significant time in every country on earth which essentially makes him the most travelled human in history.

He sold off his offshore business to fund his journey and I could imagine his eventually book will be a complete masterpiece. The world needs more adventurers like this and what is amazing is the time, the late 80's, when he decided to take this up. I did not grow up in those times but I imagine thinking global like that was not the norm in those days.

It would be interesting to see how he is able to go back home and settle down. I bet it won't be long before he gets bored and misses the adventures.

Sometimes I think the more you do the less you are able to settle down and be content.

Who knows. Maybe he's all tuckered out. 23 years is a long time.
