This is why it's so important to put yourself first in this society. We live in a culture where court-ordered male slavery is acceptable, but the word "son" in the natural anthem is not.

Margaret Atwood is a major troll. She continues to stay in dilapidated Toronto because she can burp and fart and make the front pages of the papers here. If she lived in NYC, Paris, or London she would be just another top-end literary person among many others, and nobody would give a fuck about what sandwich she ate for lunch.

Atwood is crazy as fuck. I believe she said, "Men worry about being laughed at by women. Women have to be worried about being killed by men."

On point, what a mindless thing to worry about. Not to mention, women are not loyal to society. They have been throwing social traditions under the bus for decades and now want to be seen as loyal and protectors of society?

These are seriously only "Rich White Women Problems". Atwood and Kim Campbell (ex-PM for 2 months) are the leaders of this thing.

Somebody in the comments said the same thing on the globe and mail article. Most of the comments are against the change. As bad as Canada can be with its political correctness, I do feel that their request will not be accepted.

Having said that, it is bad in the first place that they are trying to change this.
