Thumbs Up What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Brothers and Archer for sure.

ABC's Castle is really good. ESPN's 30 for 30 is usually a good view.

What about you - what are your favorite shows?

I'd have to say that right now Burn Notice is my favorite tv show. Other honorable mentions include but not limited to Supernatural, 2 Broke Girls (great laughing material but barely get a chance to watch it), and It Takes a Thief.

RE: What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?
I don't really watch TV. I haven't had Cable in about 5 years now. I only bother with sports (which I can stream online) and a few select shows that I take the time to find uploaded and streaming online.

Current favorites:

Boardwalk Empire
Homeland
Game of Thrones
Strike Back
Ray Donovan
Sons of Anarchy
Hard Knocks
House of Cards
Royal Pains

Shows that have recently ended that I watched carefully:

Magic City
Dexter
Boss
Spartacus
Rome

I also watch a lot of documentaries. I generally just go to youtube to look for them and mark them to a playlist for later viewing. I've got about 150 good documentaries in my queue at any given time, most relating to current events, the military, or sports. I just watch them whenever I've got some time and none of the shows I mentioned above have new episodes available. The bulk of the documentaries I have are made by the BBC, Al Jazeera, Dateline SBS or ITV. I've got a couple of the 30 for 30 documentaries online as well and a bunch of "Hard Knocks"-type shows about college football programs that can be found on youtube.

I generally don't like network TV, with few exceptions.

Mad Men.

Of British shows, Luther is my favorite.

Both series have archetypal alpha leads (Don Draper and DCI John Luther) if you're into that sort of thing.

+1 for Mad Men.

Very red pill show. You could use it for so many game examples. Such as: how people love Don Draper, but hate Pete Campbell, even though they often break the same "rules": infidelity, standoffishsness, etc. Draper pulls it off because it is congruent to his vibe, he knows the right moment to pull the trigger and when to be aloof. Pete makes so many noob mistakes and comes across as needy and insecure.

Shows that are still on:

Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
Walking Dead
Real Time with Bill Maher
Californication

Shows that have ended but that still deserve an honorable mention:

Rome
The Sopranos
The Wire

Yes. Also Roger Sterling. We see him as both the alpha cocky funny guy but also as a needy older man. From a game perspective, it's easy to see how Joan went from hot to cold with him. Or for that matter his second much younger wife. Simple - he became beta with her.

I do need to start watching this show. Breaking Bad too. Those are probably the two biggest dramas out there that I have yet to get into.

Loved The Wire. I didn't mind Californication, but Hank's white knighting got to be too much. True Blood had similar issues (Sookie's being obsessed over by so many ridiculously good looking, rich immortal super-creatures in that show is just more blatant twilight-style female fantasy being put on screen-the show is basically chick porn).

Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, Game of Thrones

I was also a big fan of Scrubs and Big Bang Theory before, but now they inspire lukewarm feelings in me and I don't find too much of their content funny or touching (given how much it's based on blue-pill)

I co-sign Luther.
Low Winter Sun (The UK and American version are both top of the line TV)
Ray Donovan
Law & Order: SVU (Mainly because of Ice-T)
Breaking Bad
Doctor Who

I try not to watch too much TV.
I'd rather read a book instead of channel surfing.
I haven't had a cable tv service for over 5 years.

RE: What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?
I can't get in to Mad Men. I agree; it's fairly red pill, but there are too many slow-ass soap opera moments for me. I watched more than half of season 1 and wrote it off.

A really cool show I found recently is called Air Crash Investigations. It appears to air overseas, but most of them are posted on YouTube.

I liked Defiance and Sinbad that ran on SyFy. I'm looking forward to season 2 of each.

I tend to watch very little on TV. I like On Demand, or I watch shows that already aired on Netflix and Amazon Prime.

A friend just told me about The Carbonaro Effect. It's hilarious. It shows Game techniques. Below is a youtube clip. You gotta check it out. I'm hooked.

Another good show from TruTV is Impractical Jokers. You can implement their stuff by yourself or with buddies.
