Girls are not able to participate in your hobbies or debate your interests nessecarily but they are willing listeners and good at recognizing your emotional state regarding those interests and giving you emotional feedback on it. So she'll be able to share your feelings of joy or frustation about it. But yeah, original thought, not just something parroted is very difficult, if not impossible to find in a woman.

RE: Being friends with girls
This is how it works for me.

If I respect them I will be friends with them. If I respect them and I am sexually attracted to them I will obviously try to get with them, but if I fail and they dont want that, being their friend is something I do not mind, because I enjoy them as a person.

The dilemma with that is that there are very few women I have genuine respect for.

RE: Being friends with girls
I have had some really interesting conversations with women about the differences in bell curves for men and women when it comes to measuring IQ.

One way into the conversation is that I say - women on average are smarter than men.

But there are more males geniuses than female ones.

And then I take them through the differences between average intelligence (which women might have the edge on) - and the spread in intelligence in male and female populations. Which means for a smart guy - it is very rare for him to find a chick on the same level or higher.

I remember one chick who got angry at me - and then slowly understood what I was saying. And then came round to agreeing with me.

I said to her - "How can I be sexist? I already said than women are smarter than men - on average." But sadly for women - average isn't that important. Since most of science, business, philosophy, politics, technology and culture is shaped by the 0.1% who are anything but average. And who sadly for women are mostly men.

Even though the logic and evidence behind what I say is simple. clear and correct. It is amaizng how many men refuse to believe it. It seems most men are conditioned to only believing what is fed to them in the media, schools and government campaigns. People seem scared to try and do some original thinking of their own and to come to their own conclusions.

Much better to stick with the herd than to stand out and be mistaken for a sexist...

PS @AnonymousBosch - wow I never thought about a really smart guy trying to communicate with a normal person. As being like a normal person trying to communicate with a mentally handicapped person. It is a really novel way of thinking about things. I will be mulling that one over today.

I understand but pity your predicament, because it is both admirable and hopeless. The problem is that most women (either of their own volition or out of being used to being courted by men trying to date them through the friendzone) don't have the same equitable understanding of friendship that you do. Their understanding of relations with men is essentially parasitic. Thus, it is very rare for her to pay for her share, not play flaking games, not discard you in favor of a new boyfriend or not try to screw with your head - it essentially goes against her very being.

NAWALT, of course (I have a good female friend), but that's the general rule.

Were the conversations interesting because of what the women said, or because you had to break down concepts and explain them in new ways?

The latter - interesting because it isn;t often you see a girl do a complete 180 degree turn when she eventually grasps what you are saying. And that you are not in fact being a 'sexist pig'.

Having said that - the differences between men and women are interesting. I tell girls they shouldn't be ashamed that there are literally no female geniuses in human history.

Since for every male genius - you have a thousand guys who waste their lives obsessing over useless trivia (think of the difference between most autistic people and a genius). It is the same drive which compels men to obsess over certain areas of knowledge. And most of the time - it doesn't lead to anything important or interesting.

So - with that in mind - it isn't shameful for a sex (ie women) to devote their energies to stuff like having kids and raising a family. Since in most cases that is a much more productive than what most men ultimately achieve with their life.

Just as their are more scientific geniuses who are men than women. There are also more stamp collectors, train spotters and Start Trek nerds who are men than women.

What do women truly obsess over? Social status and fashion? That never leads to anything important or interesting.

I find it somewhat depressing that men have been sold the lie that they will be able to find a woman who's as intelligent as they are.

Unless you find a magical snowflake then even the smartest woman will still burst into tears for no reason, get angry because you can't read her mind, etc. etc.

I love women for the feminine energy they can radiate, but they are being actively lead away from that by our sick society, becoming useless, degraded, copies of men.
