It looks like outer space is going to be the next frontier of game, since all signs point to there being some legit talent interested in hopping on the Mars mission. These particular chicks will be too old by whenever it happens, but it shows that the type of chick who's down to go into space is of the bangable variety.

Look at it this way: no sausage fests or iPhones (or condoms) on Mars! How many forum members can claim a Mars flag?

I'm pretty sure it's much-much longer than 6 months, but there'd be all kinds of challenges up there. For one, you can't creep on your main chick as easily. But, logistics would be easy. There's only your pod and hers.

It will be interesting to see what traits they prioritize in potential colonists.

If you're trying to start a permanent Mars colony, the people living there have to be willing to have sex with each other. So, if you select an ugly chick with a PhD in rocket science, you'll have your technical problems covered, but the species might die out from lack of reproduction.

I wonder what it's like to bust a nut in low/zero gravity.

If you read the scientific and mathematical "accomplishments" these so-called geeks are proud of, it is the most pathetic collection of pseudo-achievements in the world. Writing macros? Preparing labs for students? My cat can do all that.

I don't know what these women think is going to happen if they get selected to go on such a "trip". In the past, at least a boat to the new world meant the air, soil, and water was somewhat similar to what you'd find in Europe. Mars is an entirely different beast with an unbreathable atmosphere, way less gravity, and hell there isn't even an ionosphere to protect from solar radiation. How will the human body adapt in such an environment?

The whole Mars One experiment is just that, an experiment where most of the first generation will probably die off due to unforeseen problems.

Secondly I doubt any of them would be willing to do the hard work like don a space suit and weld steal together to build a new greenhouse, let alone have any of the prerequisite feminine skills to take off an ounce of misery that the men who will be doing the real work will have to face.

Most of the good looking ones would die off pretty quickly.

They want to send a bunch of nutjobs, loonies and serious types into a one-way, long haul mission? We couldn't even get space shuttle launches 100% at the time of service.

1: The ship needs to be big and must have a small ship which can land and take off effectively and re-dock

2: They need to grow their own food and store a lot of it but as people have said, it is a suicide mission so why bother?

3: Imagine not being able to feel the wind, feel grass, drink alcohol and get pissed. Have sex outdoors, taste new and exciting things. Experience new relationships and human interaction.

The only people who would go on such a mission must be dead inside, a mere drone. Someone who doesn't quite see they're a guinea pig is very useful.

They can be used by big corps to see what the minimal amount is required to help a human survive.
