Approaching girls and getting a number to bang them at a later date. some would consider you a perv.

Smelling women's panties is arguably pervy, but the method on how you came about them could be considered sexually deviant.

It seems like an empty word.

After traveling a lot and rubbing shoulders with varied personalities here -hearing the stories, very little surprises me or disgusts me.

I view the word pervert the same as creep - a word made up by women to shame men they don't approve of for the sexual desires those men express. Any preference a man has can be called perverted if she doesn't it like it.

It's just that nowadays girls call guys creepy instead of perverted.

Exactly. Pervert or perv is a sexual shaming word that is directed almost entirely at men. When was the last time you heard a woman referred to as a pervert? When I was in college ~20 years ago 'perv' was used the way 'creeper' is now (although I don't recall hearing it as often).
