So, I've noticed my life changing the more and more I've become aware of and incorporated game principles into my life (big ups, Roosh!). Now it's getting to the point where a lot of other people are noticing too- which is nice, but not my goal at all.

So then, as the thread title says, something happened that shook me up a little. A little backstory:

I work at a club. I've worked there for a long time, promoting, djing, setup/cleanup, bartending- doing whatever comes along. The money isn't bad and it's a place I'd like to be at anyway- not to mention the passive pussy and socializing- so it's been pretty gravy. Recently I was given my own Karaoke night, and the whole thing is starting to blow up. The owners of the club even noticed, after probably a year of me sticking to the shadows. This week, as I was pouring drinks for some of my best clients, a dark figure saddles downstairs from the smoky haze of the backroom poker game...

We'll call this man K. K is a proper, middle-aged black man, who is a prominent businessman in my area, descended from money. He begins conversation (dare I fucking say opens) by saying "Damn son. You handsome." I'm a little taken aback, but he owns the club and it's in front of clients, so I flash a winning smile and say "Well, thank you." He then pushed more and says "Are you gay?"

I've never gotten this before, although it seems I get hit on by guys a lot. With a little thinly veiled disgust, I reply "No sir." He then proceeds to go on in conversation and offer me an amount of money I can't fathom (low 4 figures) A WEEK to be his "boy toy," i.e. just "hang out nekkid" and "not do nothin gay." Obviously I said no, but... What the fuck? Has this ever happened to you?

I can kind of see why girls are such whores- if he was a fat/ugly bitch I would've dove in so deep you couldn't see my feet anymore.

Good-looking bitches do get these kinds of offers a lot, believe it or not, even in the states. Older guys offering to pay their rent and shit. One time my girlfriend went to check out a studio apartment for us in downtown Capitola (moneyed area near Santa Cruz) and the rich landlord was offering her free rent and a "job" as his "personal assistant" as soon as he met her, while obviously hitting on her at the same time.

I could see it being an appealing prospect for the right woman under the right circumstances. And it often is.

If anything, a good reason to start your own biz and forge your own way in life. The only reason this guy took the risk that he did is because he had power over you as a boss. Guys rarely throw shit like that at random dudes.

I've never been in that situation but I've sometimes wondered if I'd be tempted. Imagine a gay guy comes up to you and offers you 10 000$, to be deposited securely in your bank account, if you spend an hour of gay sex with him. Do you accept? The obvious answer is "no". What if he offers 100 000$? 1 000 000$? Following the famous adage, does everyone have a price and it's just a matter of haggling?

I lived in Palm Springs, CA so it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that it has happened to me a few times. Two of those times were directly and the third was indirectly. Sounds like it's a gay analogue to how some players use "I just want to show you something at my place", just to logistically move things forward and as a pretext to fuck.
