There is a great option for betas like him. Go to an Asian country (except South Korea or Japan) and teach English. He will get a job to list on his resume, and he will get laid.

A beta friend of mine went to China to teach, and came back ever so slightly more alpha. Getting laid and paid helped him come out of his shell, even if he could only get Asian women (which are insanely easy for white guys, but even black guys can smash them no problem). Now that my beta friend is back in the states, he asks me if I will go out with him from time to time.

He still has no game, but at least he's on the right path to learning game.

He's never travelled anywhere alone in his life. He'd be too scared to leave Queens and go somewhere with such a culture shock. He also has no money and not enough social skills to teach foreign teenagers.

I was about to suggest this. Going abroad will open his horizons and getting laid will inject him with self confidence. It's very hard to not get laid in Asia - although things like language barrier and race can occasionally become an issue.

I don't recall if your friend is Black but if he is he should go do a stint in Japan. Black dudes clean up there.

If he's White he'll do well pretty much anywhere in Asia.

Taiwan and Thailand would be tied for second place here, IMO, if he is a Black dude.

Unfortunately, however, it sounds like he's a complacent lost cause in terms of trying to make him improve himself.

So, from my understanding, you've brought girls around him (plenty) and he still can't get anywhere? Yikes... I hate to say it, but I don't think you're ever going to break him out of his trance.

Worse yet, you live in NYC and he still can't get laid? That's criminal. Samseau knows his stuff, always has, so I'm curious to see if you tried that approach and just flat out confronted your friend in a completely non-aggressive way and how he responded.
