Better Book "The Game" or "Bang"
Both are similarly priced on kindle and I can only afford one, which one is better for a beginner and why?

RE: Better Book "The Game" or "Bang"
Seems like a weird question for this forum but in case any stray google searchers wind up here, here's a mini-answer:

I'd recommend Bang, though I've not read The Game. My impression is that The Game is as much a narrative about Neil Strauss's experiences with Mystery as it is a player manual. Bang, on the other hand, is a straightforward book with practical advice.

These days if you use some of the stuff out of 'The Game' you will look like an idiot, ask me how I know.

Suspect post, but I own both and have read both.

In terms of story telling, The Game wins hands down. Style was a big time writer way before he got into game.

In terms or practical, how to get laid tonight knowledge, Bang wins - because it's a essentially a small text book on fucking chicks.

You can draw lessons from The Game, but it doesn't really lay it out for you.

A better comparison of the 2 methods is Bang v. The Mystery Method.

RE: Better Book "The Game" or "Bang"
Bang is a technical manual on what to do. The Game is a long-winded story on how it looks when you start doing it and will encourage people to try out "game" just by itself whereas Bang probably won't. Those are two very different books as far as content and aim goes.

If you already want to learn game and have a rough idea what it is, get Bang.

In another field, Bang would be a detailed mechanic's manual, whereas The Game would be a story about someone who became a mechanic and how he did it.

Kind of like asking Burger King execs if they'd prefer a Big Mac over a Whopper.

If you can only afford one book, get "Day Bang." It has some brilliant insight.

Then again, if you can only afford one book, you may wanna work on improving your financial situation instead of reading game guides. Gonna take a TON of game to negate the fact that you can't even afford a $15 book.

Yeah one advantage of Bang's understated style is that it holds up pretty well over time and is applicable to many environments. Mystery's core principles are applicable, but you'll need to pay close attention and understand them well enough to adapt for personal use. Many specific tricks and techniques are either played-out or very difficult to perform effectively for most men.

The Game is a better book. Bang is a better guide.

The game is better for an enjoyable story, bang is ironically better for improving your game.

RE: Better Book "The Game" or "Bang"
Depends.

Do you need reassurance that game works or want an enjoyable book? "The Game" is the book for you.

Do you need to skip all the bullshit and jump straight to "how-to's" of game? Then "Bang" is for you.

Of course, you can also be a pirate and then buy them both when you have money...

The Game is a story book. The Gospel of Neil so to speak Laugh

It's not a bad read. It's kind of dated though.

Everyone getting into game should read The Game. It opens your eyes and shows you where game can take you.

Both are great books, but I'd recommend buying Bang. Its more practical.

If you have a Kindle, PM me and I can send you a torrented copy of the Game.

RE: Better Book "The Game" or "Bang"
If I was you I'd stay away from the Game for now and here's why: maybe I'm wrong but it seems that you're just starting to PU girls and the Game WILL NOT help you're inner game at all.

This book as so many bad inner game example that I believe that pretty much all the guys on PUA HATE got messed up from that book. BANG on the other hand will give you that initial inner game path to fallow and the beliefs needed to be great with women.

BANG is the way to go my friend. You can also read MIND OS from Dr PAUL DOBRANSKY and go download the 13 episode of the Black Phillips show from the legendary Patrice O'neal (RIP) then you're set.

Afterword you can read the Game if you want and you'll see how messed up the inner game of these guys are. You gotta build your mind right to deal with women since there sexuality is REALLY strong. You WILL stumble, and it's the inner game that will bring you back up. PM me if you want more advice!! Could talk for days on this hehe!!
