RE: Gawker writer is trying to get a guy fired for his tweets
This popehat clown tweeted the following:

"I #standwithpax because being a real man means expecting protection from the social consequences of your words."

This is a strawman, which clearly demonstrates how little the far leftist regards personal autonomy. Our argument has never been that society needs to protect anyone, in fact our argument is exactly the opposite, it's that society needs to do a better job leaving people alone and not seeking to ruin them for holding unpopular opinions. But notice how the lefty can't even imagine a scenario independent of the societal consensus.

I wonder if it ever occurred to any of these wtflefties that expressing a racist/sexist/whatever opinion may be part of someone's road of personal development. I wonder if it ever occurred to any of these ubermensch lefties that its they who are promoting the most sexism, and that in fact their freedom to do so is part of their own development.

I wonder if it ever occurred to any of these omglefties and their social justice warrior ilk that destroying people over an opinion isn't likely to help them move past it.

Keep in mind that even white male comedians who tell jokes for a living - no matter how vulgar - don't use that word, so why should anyone expect a C-level exec in a "public" corporation to get away with saying that publicly? He's the last person on Earth who should be trying to talk down to us.

One thing I keep noticing about the I-MacCarthyists, is that they're all mentally-damaged in one way or another, often making claims of Victimhood - despite their apparent wealth and comfort - that are stated without shame and almost-pathologically-triumphant. I never see one who looks like a Winner.

Since Victimhood = Strength to them, rather than just actually being strong, I'm honestly starting to wonder if the war being fought online isn't about right or left, gay or straight, black or white, but simply healthy, high-resilient minds versus unhealthy, low-resilient minds. You can easily see why it's important for them to normalise the acceptance of mental aberration, and then try to gain special consideration for it.

The fact that the phrase 'Trigger Warning' is an entirely serious one shows just how fragile these people are. If they can't read a description of something without losing their shit, how can they be expected to produce in the workplace without folding under pressure?

Businesses need to realise that if you want a successful company, a culture of Victimhood simply interupts the smooth flow of work and will only promote people who are unable to handle the stresses of an important job, and, therefore, internally-damage your company because they have been trained by their damaged mind to always blame someone else for their own failure in life.

It will never be "Their Fault" but "I couldn't do that because [childhood trauma A], [mental disorder B], and [bogeyman C]." ie. "I'm a Abuse Survivor who suffers from Bi-Polar Syndrome and can't climb the ladder of success due to the Evil Patriarchy holding me back."

If this is what you're made to hire, your business is doomed. I suspect the future of successful business models will be private, not public.

Interestingly, as Victimhood is normalised and seen as status, it is going to fracture into infighting as they turn on each other for power. I saw this at my previous job with a Gay Man and A Woman both claiming victim rights and greater discrimination of their status in how a sexual-harrassment case was being handled.

Lol @ Ali. I think this is all hilarious. I actually thought Pax's tweets were pretty funny. I also don't find any of this sad because the guy clearly could give a rat's ass about what happened. He knew what he was doing. Entertaining guy.

This is actually really bad for minorities, women, and gays. They are gigantic lawsuit risks for any company, tech or not.

Many small businesses - and many tech startups are small businesses - are small and do not have HR bullshit. They do not have lawyers and HR harridans to keep the workforce in line. They are forced to screen out politically correct types in job interviews.

Nitasha Tiku is on a crusade about how "culture fit" is so important for start-ups, and that they screen out women, gays, and minorities. The problem is that the Nitasha Tikus of the world are forcing this "culture fit" phenomenon. If a company could hire a gay, minority, or woman and not worry about a lawsuit, they would hire more gays, minorities and women! If a company could hire a gay, minority, or woman and not be afraid of firing them if they sucked, they would hire more gays, minorities, and women. Not that hard to figure out.

RE: Gawker writer is trying to get a guy fired for his tweets
Man am I late to this party.

Too many good points being thrown out from both sides.

I'm curious about the tolerance-police: I thought it was normal that in every family there's a "crazy" grandpa or uncle that says Nigger or Fag and doesn't have a single ounce of PC-sensitivity. I know that's how it was in mine. I wonder if the tolerance police are just as unforgiving toward their own family? Pax didn't even engage in hate speech, he simply voiced opinions that many of us don't even find controversial but are apparently so in these progressive liberal days.

There's also a phenomenon at play here that bothers me, and that's the concept of Men of Position. Do you think the tolerance police would care if some random high school kid working at Burger King is making controversial tweets while on his lunch break? What if Jimmy Smalls in bumfuck Idaho started tweeting about, "I don't see why I should support transgender equality", think anyone would care? Hell no. So why should a man in a higher position be placed under such scrutiny? He isn't a public servant. Does being in that position give him more responsibility, and if so, how? If being PC is that important, shouldn't there be a golden standard with which to compare, rich or poor, old or young?

Despite all of that, he should have seen it coming, and I'm sure he did. He's clearly no moron. It's one thing for Roosh to make a stand on Twitter: he's his own boss. Any guy that has something to lose needs to play the game. We're not going to "win" on their terms. Twitter is not a natural right that everyone is entitled to, so stop using it unless you can use it to your advantage. If you can't use something to your advantage, unplug from it. Some guys will be able to, others not.

The world will always reward masculine men; it's in our biology. It might not be in the U.S. As a pro-masculinity group, we have to evolve just as everyone and everything else does. It won't do to reminisce about the past and recall old times (even though I'm a huge fan of doing so) Masculinity is a greater commodity now than ever. WestCoast is right on point, the white knights outnumber us greatly, and social media is THEIR forum and THEIR realm, because think of it, the very nature of social media is EGALITARIANISM. It requires no test of strength, or intelligence, wit, instinct, or evolutionary superiority. Come one, come all. They create the rules. In their realm, we will always be outliers.

It takes strength and intelligence to find a way out. They'll call it a cop-out, but throw any one of them in a third world scenario as many of us have been in and see how they fare. It takes dedication and work to learn foreign languages and how to navigate foreign cultures. If that's the way the alpha-male adapts, so be it. Some of you might find it weak, to not stand our ground in the U.S., but look to nature as an example: not even the strongest alpha lion can ward off four weaker lions. A lion is still a lion. Strength in numbers.

We are outnumbered.

The one thing I do take issue with in the article is "You can shake your head or laugh, but most Indian men will openly tell you they prefer white women over their own race."

Both Indian and Asian guys raised in the US marry out of their race at roughly the same rates (around 1/4). Source: http://www.asian-nation.org/interracial.shtml

"On my forum, we have enough angry Indian trolls that we’ve developed a name for them: Indian Race Trolls (IRT)."

The IRT is literally one psychopath who has made accounts on every single website on the internet with the exact same topics (white women, the Deep South, transferring colleges and being Indian in different places). He has not done a single thing to change himself except make up hilariously false lay reports that were broken down by dk902.

There are probably more Indian guys who think like him, but they are nowhere near his level of extremism. My roommate is an Indian guy, and he only goes for cute Indian girls. However, he only goes for light skinned Indian girls and would never consider dating a girl darker than him. Is that race trolling or is that just a preference? I think it's the latter.

That makes complete sense, what better way to break up the monotony of videogames than to take up the pursuit of looking out the window.

Quote: IRT: The woman falls into the class of women I am starting to like (blondes!).

Not like he had a fetish for them since the dawn of time or anything. Just a recent occurrence. More of an acquired taste.

He's overlooked the main features that many of the misogynists on here would assess this girl by - tits and ass. I'm glad to see IRT likes girls for more than their body.

Quote: IRT: I noticed for some reason, she was really nice to me last year when she moved in and we had some good conversations. At first I thought it was a fake nice or something but she was kind to me.

It's a part of the game even seasoned players on here tend to forget...girls need to be screened whether they're being good nice or fake nice.

Quote: IRT: Seeing her naked got my dick as hard as a rock, no kidding. Could not get myself to look away and she caught me looking. I was thinking “oh boy, I am screwed, here come the complaints!”. Well, she looked at me and oddly she smiled so I was thinking maybe I should wait.

She put a shirt on and opened her window signaling me to come over. I decided to go over to her house.

The more I read the more I realise I've been missing out all these years, reading Roosh's blog and the like. Daybang and Bang is for losers. All you need is Sit and Wait To Be Signalled Over To Her House game.

Quote: IRT: Well, here we are and I am tired of the kissing, the raging boner in my pants wants more (think I was already ejaculating a bit). She tells me “in that drawer, put one on and lets go” (it was a condom, been a while since I put one of those on, but I put em on).

His frame is so strong, that even in the confusion of looking for a condom, her desire for him is not even diminished one bit and the moment does not get spoilt.

He's a raw-dogger for life.

Quote: IRT: Few hours later there was a person at our door and my mom told me it was for me. It was the girl I had ended up getting with and she whispered in my ear “I don’t think I should give you this in front of your mom”. So we went a bit inside and she gave me my boxers which I had left at her house. Smiled at me and then walked out.

He's the one being chased.

He clearly put down some pipe in that house. See how he reversed the interaction? Girls normally leave things at your house, but he purposely left the boxers there for her to seek him back out.

Gentlemen, we have a true player in our midst. I think he was wrongly judged.

So far in this thread no one has touched on Anil Dash's true villainy. Right here he reveals how twisted he really is: He posits that being loud in a movie theater is completely acceptable, even making the experience more enjoyable, and attempts to convince the audience that shushers are wrong to shush.

Seriously, fuck this guy.

I don't understand the notion that Indian-American guys are racist (as a whole) towards white people. I've known many people of Indian descent. Indians in the US are a pretty accomplished and well-assimilated group. I mean, Kal Penn from Harold and Kumar, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Fareed Zakaria, Louisiana Republican Governor Bobby Jindal? These are all well-known and influential individuals. Indians are widely stereotyped as being intelligent and are prominent in some of the most respectable and challenging professions (doctors, lawyers, engineers, business, etc). Citigroup's last CEO was Vikram Pandit. Quite a few of them are prominent on Wall Street as well.

Shit, Ramit Sethi has one of my favorite blogs: http://www.iwillteachyoutoberich.com/

I think he follows Roosh on Twitter btw. That man dishes out great financial advice.

I'm friends with some Indian-Americans - a couple of whom have been longtime friends - and I've found them to be very driven, confident and assertive guys. But, then again, that goes for many of my friends.

As for game, I've known a couple that do alright, at least the ones that grew up in the States. I'd say most Indian dudes are into relationships as opposed to being players (most of them come from stable and traditional families). Though Indian dudes I know from the Caribbean (Trinidad, Guyana, etc) are pretty cool. Some of them have hella game.

Also, Indians are ethnically Caucasian.

What followed was a big row, similar to Pax's. He apologized, many times, but it didn't help and then he didn't come online Twitter anymore. He hasn't been online since. Latest news was that he couldn't do any PhD hiring anymore, had to do sensitivity training and lost his position at NYC. He didn't lose his main professorship (yet). I looked at discussions by his critics, and their arguments. When I read beyond the rage, there was not much meat *there* qua arguments. Most of his critics were fat women with fantasies of PhD doctorates. It was all butthurt. Others who were outraged at Miller were gays, white knights, nerds and the like. The usual suspects.

I'm agitated at this Pax affair because it has the signature of a frenzy of fanatics. There's a method, you find some random guy who said something progs don't like, get it on a blogging site and the outraged sheeple come and attack. They make much noise on twitter, blogs, facebook or whateve, mail employers and the guy gets fired. This beast never sleeps or rests, it is always out for fresh virgin blood of new offenders. Can you imagine some prog ever saying: well, that was enough!

Yeah, Pax can be tasteless. True. But that's missing the point here. What's happening here is the becoming of a new mechanism that will get guys like us here fired for what we wrote today -- like Paula Deen was. There's little doubt in my mind that in 10-15 years all pseudonyms will be coupled to IP addresses and real names. Everything is being stored today anyway. Don't think we're protected by FoS or anything like it. The culture has changed, FoS can only exist in its full form when there's also some restraint among your adverseries, an impulse to agree to disagree.

Thanks, I've started tracking this-- keeping a list of hysterical PC witch-hunts. If the list gets long enough, I will share it.

Yeah, they are not although I am not sure if Roosh did want to convey that from his article (I didn't think it implied that).

This Anil Dash character is a typical left-wing, white-knight, male-feminist mangina that we often discuss here. He isn't really an immigrant, he was born in the US. In fact, an immigrant (of any color) would not give two shits about "privilege", much less "white privilege". Immigrants are too concerned about real things such as survival and making money.

He is no different than white feminists who talk about "white privilege". If I remember correctly, the infamous Lindy West blamed "white privilege" for the Trayvon Martin verdict on twitter. These idiots come from all races and all they care about is how they can portray themselves as victims.

I think what you have done with this whole situation is pretty remarkable. These kind of people now have a taste of their own medicine. Forever their names will be on the internet linked with articles that are controversial and are bound to give today's ultra-PC HR departments a headache.

Anyone googling their names will always see the word racist associated with them and I am sure that is something they did not expect when they launched their crusade against this guy.

I take back what I said about only high profile men being targeted. This article is ridiculous...progressive policy in action. Everyone's a goddamn victim, and this is a perfect example.

Somehow, complaining about your tips now translates to "overt racism". Smear tactics anyone?

I worked at Olive Garden to make some cash during high school. We used a system of nicknames for each group of people that didn't tip well, or at all (e.g. "Canadians" were blacks).

Management was clueless.

Everyone is on the same page at work, even in the office. Most rational people are keenly aware of the politically correct BS going on, but they fear for their jobs too much. When the economy starts picking up again and jobs are abundant, people will begin having the balls to speak their minds.

Well TBH you've framed it in a less than ideal manner as to be explained below.

Quote:I've known many people of Indian descent. Indians in the US are a pretty accomplished and well-assimilated group. Will Smith, Kanye West, Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice all sit in this same sphere as black people, but would blacks be regarded as a 'pretty accomplished and well-assimilated group'?

When regarding a group, you take the general, not the exceptions.

Quote:Indians are widely stereotyped as being intelligent and are prominent in some of the most respectable and challenging professions (doctors, lawyers, engineers, business, etc). Citigroup's last CEO was Vikram Pandit. Quite a few of them are prominent on Wall Street as well.

I though there were more regarded as 7-11 clerks and taxi drivers.

Quote:Shit, Ramit Sethi has one of my favorite blogs: http://www.iwillteachyoutoberich.com/

No hate here, I am closer to Indians than most people, just alerting that i don't think you've framed the argument as coherant as it could be.

No hate here? Nah, you just expressed some virulent hatred. Don't try to have it both ways.

What there is hateful?

My son is half Indian.

For you to prejudice that as hatred is 100% symptomatic of Roosh's ROK post. You're seeing ghosts if you think what I said is hate.

Ghost? Give me a break - you were just tarnishing an entire people with one brush.

Imagine if you're on here twenty years from now and your son subscribes. Does he have to apologize for who he is, because of some racial stereotype?

Tarnish? As i said your prejudice is symptomatic of Roosh's ROK article.

For me to say that amongst Indians there are more 7-11 clerks than Citgroup CEO's.... ummm... you are seriously blinded by minorities having the privilege to play the race card.

Would you assert there are more indian migrants in the U.S who are fortune 500 CEO's than 7-11 clerks?

Then to assume my statement about Indians being 7-11 clerks is in a pejorative statement shows your intellectual immaturity.

My statement is completely benign and secular to any racial motives, it's called observation.

So no, you won't be given a break, you will be handed quite the reverse, you are seeing ghosts, you're seeing the spectre of racism where no racism was evident.

WTF?

How would he feel shame, or being strucuturally inhibited because dad said there are more 7-11 clerks than Citigroup CEO's of Indian heritage?

What a moronic argument. Please tell me for what race would it be true that there are more Fortune 500 CEO's and 7-11 clerks?

Answer: none.

I think this forum had a new Indian member, Raj right? The man had to immediately apologize for being Indian and had to provide photographic proof he wasn't an IRT.

What kind of bullshit is that?

It's fine to make generalizations about people. Of course there are racial differences, on average. West African people are better sprinters on average, just like Ethiopians are better long distance runners - again on average.

But guys on here are going beyond making broad generalizations. They're denigrating entire peoples on account of the actions of a few. And they're doing it gleefully and without regard to anyone who would otherwise agree with them, but actually is willing to judge individuals on their own merits.
