Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't recall from that thread you saying that you used to live in the DR. That's a huge advantage so you are being disengenous by saying that you got laid in the DR for free because of Game and a strong frame alone. Actually its not a huge advantage at all. I only lived there 8 months and I did not speak good Spanish before I went nor did I know anyone before I arrived.

My experience there in terms of the language was that Dominican Spanish is so fucked up that it would be impossible for me to learn Spanish there.

That's why I left and moved to Argentina. I learnt Spanish just fine there (although I had to be careful to avoid picking up the local slang - lunfardo)

We are going to have to agree to disagree, 8 months is a long time. I can get laid a lot in Mongolia if I lived there for 8 months. You were practically an expat. You had a tremendous advantage over a guy who was there for only a week on holiday. Women over there aren't stupid, they can tell the difference between an expat and a guy who is in one week holiday and they will treat you accordingly. Unlike the United States and Western Europe you can get laid plenty in the DR for "free" with zero Game provided you live there and she knows you are going to be around for a while so she can nickel and dime you to death. I am not saying it is impossible to get laid for free in the DR, my argument is that its very difficult to do so if you are there for a limited amount of time (2 weeks or less) regardless of Game. Most of my meals were in the 2-3 dollar range and I have never seen anywhere in the DR that charges 20 dollars for any meal.

Even the nicest Italian restaurant in the capital you would be hard pressed to get over 15 dollars for a main

The only places I know that would find people dumb enough to pay more are tourist places like hard rock cafe

You probably showed off that you were american and the locals tapped you for what it was worth. I constantly emphasized the fact that I don't have much money and that I am struggling in the western hemisphere..just to leave the inception that I am one of them...it's best if you can perhaps say that your parents are dominican but you lived in the western hemisphere so long you forgot how to speak Spanish (that's what my guide told me when he took me to a spot to mash a 'ting')
On the flip note, an ex of mine went there with her husband (he is haitian descent but born and bred in NYC) and she is black but she likes to wear all this jewellery and tight skirts so apparently she had a rough time in DR cos peeps were constantly trying to wrangle game on her because they thought she was balling.
I don't wear any jewellery and my only 'shine' is a bit of muscle wedged into some medium old navy t-shirts.
I try and dumb shyt down as much as possible when I am travelling. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't..but I'll be damned to pay 20 dollars for a meal in DR..cos I don't got it like that..but I feel pained to pay 20 dollars a meal here in North America fcuk a DR!
I don't mind tipping a bit and feeding the piper a bit..dropping a little paper on the mamis especially if they giving up the gooch (I am a charitable man) but I like to be in control of my 'tax' donations generally.
