People will begin to recognize the ills of mobile phones, and there will be a backlash. The backlash, as a proportion of the populace, will be small. But it will become increasingly pronounced. It could even become a great divider - imagine bars that explicitly forbid cell phone use. It would attract people who would appreciate that, and repel all the iphone toolbags and the nascent Glassholes.

I decided to leave my phone in the car friday when i went out dolo and had a most excellent outing and even though I did not get an SNL I still made out with two or 3 random chicks ( i was very drunk so its either two or 3) and one of those 3 I kissed 60 seconds after meeting her at the bar, i shit you not and she loved it ( i have never ever done that before)

without a phone in my pocket i had no beta way to make myself look busy or pussy out of approaching ,I circulated the bar really well, hooked up with another cat who was also flying dolo so we could work the floors together and pushed myself much harder than i ever have before!

sure i could not take down numbers in my phone but did give out my card to a few women who may or may not call me during the week.

On a side note, after seeing 3 cuties out the front halfway through the evening, I asked them in in for a drink but they said they wanted to get a pie first so i directed them across the road to PieFace and told them to get me a steak and mushroom while they were at it, low and behold 10 minutes later the best looking of the 3 returned with a pie for me, she was on of the ones i gave me card to as they wanted to go home after they ate.

So fella's the next time you go out, leave your phone in the car, and see the difference it can make as it makes a big one or at least it did in my case!!!

Note: i got thrown out for being too drunk in the end but who cares i had a great night and had a sure thing lined up for last night anyway

I'm officially an old fart because i fully recall this was the norm a few years (lifetime for some) back. A great comment from the vid.

Ha I was thinking the other day, of doing day game and getting her number with a pen and small pad. Not a big deal either way, but charming and eccentric.

You could do it on your arm, but it might look suspect with three other numbers showing...
