When I was doing my day game back in college, I followed a rule that helped me wade through non-responsive girls very quickly.

The two time rule.


When a girl flakes on you twice, says "no" to you guys meeting up twice, refuses a lay on the 2nd date, or whatever you don't like after the second time you axe her.

The two time rule is a great trick for avoiding coming off needy ESPECIALLY when you're starting out. Most women will only give you one change to not screw up socially. As a guy, we can afford giving an extra chance.

As you get better with game, instead of sticking with this rule arbitrarily you can apply it in different ways (I explain this next).

As always, there are exceptions to this rule. If the girl is kinda cool, I will friendzone her and go cold with the escalating. Sometimes you can get the lay later on if you do this. Even better, you can game her friends.

The trick is to move into the social group. I've found I do better with women through social games than through cold day opens. This is an easy way to find the ones that are DTF and by building a social circle of people.

This is one useful tool in your war-chest of game. To avoid becoming a group of girls beta orbiter, make sure you work on your alpha frame and by hitting the gym. You can't use this tool effectively if you aren't building other aspects of yourself.

This is a good tip for those starting out.

I'd like to add that as long as you have multiple prospects, this shouldn't be a problem. It might be hard for someone who is new to move on after a second date because she is currently the only girl he has something to go for. I remember I used to think I didn't want all the date investment I had made to go to shit, so I'd look for ways to convince myself that it's fine to try and see her again..

I'd say though that you could always just give some time off. If you don't bang a girl after trying on date 1 and 2, don't message her for 2 weeks. Then try to reinitiate, if she already hasn't.

Good rule - just wish that I had stuck to it more often when I was starting out... Would have saved me from investing lots of time, money and hopes in somethings that were going in the wrong direction before they even started - I learned the hard way.

Hell yeah! I recently got a strippers number while she was working (found out she lives in the building next to me and only a 7) but she flaked twice. But like you said "she got the axe"

Definitely, go cold or friendzone her first. Problem solved, her hamster will start spinning when you stop hitting on her.

The goal is to keep spinning plates and keep going after more. Avoid putting all of your eggs in one basket.
