Asked a girl to quick lunch after class but was turned down because she had to check on her dog. As soon as I got home I had a friend request from her and a message saying her dog was fine. I'm just lost as to how I should go about setting up a date without looking needy after being brushed off earlier. It is also very possible I'm over analyzing everything and way too much inside my head. Regardless I think it will be beneficial to see how guys on here would respond to a specific event I'm in rather reading random anecdotes which I've been doing for a couple months.

If you don't want to seem needy leave it a few days before you ask her out again, she seems pretty keen with the facebook request and message though so just go for it

I appreciate the responses guys. I called her the next day and avoided fbook and now we've got something lined up for tomorrow, granted she doesn't flake. I'm excited to see how it turns out.
