So I was working late tonight with this female coworker and gradually I found myself very angry with her and it seemed entirely without reason. She works hard and is nice enough. I couldn't figure out what it was about her that pissed me off so much and then it dawned upon me: she was so fucking ugly! Asymmetrical face, terrible complexion, masculine body and gestures. All combined, it was enough to fill me with borderline rage. I actually kind of feel bad about it....

There are psychological studies that have been done proving people tend to treat good looking people better and ugly people worse. Don't feel guilty, it's been going on her whole life.

Had a 40ish year old morbidly obese woman in a wheel chair on my bus today. I think it was her obese daughter that was pushing her about in it. They spent a few minutes struggling to get the wheel chair onto the bus, then the woman finally got out of the chair and walked onto the bus. Same rigmarole as they were getting off.

What is really ugly?

To me ugly isn't just a person whose face isn't symmetrical or picasso looking.

Ugly is when a girl gets fat and expects everyone to treat her the same as skinny girls.



Ugly girls are not lost.. they still have the potential to be butterfaces.

I don't get mad at ugly people. I get mad at their parents for reproducing because the parents are both probably ugly, but they didn't care that they were going to bring an ugly child into the world, and didn't seem to care that the ugly child would suffer just from being ugly. It's super self-centered.

No because we cant choose how we look. I felt bad for the beasts in school when they were nice and got treated like shit. That was before attitudes were out of control though. I dont care if a girl looks like that guy from Mask; ill treat her with respect because shes another human being and not an animal. Ill make a bitch cry and want to kill me as soon as she gets attitude and disrespectful though.

Obesity pisses me off, not ugliness.

The other day I was walking out of my condo and two of my overweight female neighbors were blocking my way on the sidewalk having a convo (probably about cake). They're so fat it's almost comical -- they're shaped like turnups, with huge, disproportionate midsections. Needless to say, they didn't move in the slightest to make room for me to walk by. If they were the types to move an inch, after all, they wouldn't be so humongous.

I got angry thinking that THIS is what I get to look at each day, not some California blonde and that this is what our country has to offer. Years ago, we all looked askance at the guy who had the Russian mail-order bride who sunbathed topless. Now he seems like a visionary.

Addendum: Clicking over to my Facebook page, I realized tattoos on a woman piss me off. Ugly and obnoxious, they don't add anything to any female, only detract from femininity.

Agree with houston & DoBA.

It isn't healthy to get mad over who people didn't chose to be. Gay, black, ugly whatever. Those weren't choices a person made.

Choices made - like being fat or thinking you are better looking than you are - yes, that can get annoying.

I try to not worry about others in that sense, just that I behave in a way that reflects who I want to be. Life goes by much smoother if you don't concern yourself with judging others.

I don't like when a woman with bad style gets on TV and says that people who don't like the way she presents herself are sexist and that she's being oppressed.

Bad style: Fat, unhealthy, trying to co-opt activism and the aesthetics of revolution to gain personal attention. Being gay or bi just to get attention. Not having any class or grace (this goes for both male and females).

This is about being civilized. It's about respecting other people instead of just giving a "fuck you" to the whole world.

I don't mind people going off and having their own style, but covering yourself in tattoos is not "taking control" of your body. It's a way sublimating your anger against your parents. It's way of being conformist or trying to get attention with the latest fad.

Putting down straight people, or gay people, or anybody who has a sexual preference and isn't "post gender" is a fascist sentiment. Saying that women are oppressed just because they don't want to chop their hair off isn't giving women much credit, and is really just an insult saying that they are stupid.

I think obese people are more sick in the mind than in the body. The mind lets the body get fat. There's something wrong.

I got nothing against ugly women, I always treat them well. I mean it is genetics, they can't help it. I would treat a 4'10 man no so muscular man with an average face with the same courtesy + respect as a 6'6 man who is muscular and has a decent face.

Then thing that really pisses me off about chicks is when they are fat, because even if their genetics are bad , they can take diets and thyroid supplements or drugs to offset the effects of weight gain and actually slim down....but they don't do it and hence look unattractive as all hell and I end up getting mad pissed off and just avoid them.

I hate fat chicks, so gross man.
