According to every liberal, feminist, Doctor in the United States, "the morning after pill" and early abortions are almost harmless....

If that is so...(And the only reason why they say that is because they want the government to cover the cost) then why doesn't the father have a say in the matter?

How about a new law....Forced paternity test within one month of fertilization. If the test proves the identity of the father, then he should be able to force an abortion on the mother within a reasonable time frame.

Otherwise don't you dare use my tax money for any type of planned parenthood...

And you cant say you are religious because if you are, you wouldn't have premartial sex.....

I understand it's unfair that men have no say in the matter.

But it's cutting off you nose to spite your face to fight to restrict abortions.

Are you actually trying to have kids on accident? What goal are you trying to accomplish by limiting abortions?

In the U.S. the objections to abortion are always for religious and moral reasons. Pro-lifers always try to frame the issue by saying something like "life begins at conception" or "abortion is murder." However, they never address what the hell people are actually supposed to do with unwanted children, considering all of the time and money it takes to raise them. Another practical issue is the quality of life of a child born into a stable household where the parents wanted to reproduce versus an "oops" kid that gets born to a to a surprised single mother. It's mind boggling that the pragmatic concerns never get discussed and it's only an issue that gets argued on the basis of morality.

I think you're working this problem from the wrong end. Forcing abortions would be a fascist policy.

A man should have the right to keep a child and prevent an abortion. A man should have the right to sign away responsibility for a child he does not want. I personally could never disown my own flesh, but I understand those who don't want to be bothered with a woman who tried to trap him.

Apparently there is a new male birth control pill that could be on the market in the near future... currently its only known side effects are minor weight loss.

Are you going to force a woman to take a pill after you fuck her raw and cum inside her? Not likely.

She probably wouldn't even realize that she's pregnant until 2 weeks after her missed period. She'll start to feel weird and possibly sick and end up going to the doctor. By that point she's at 1 1/2 to 2 months along. Way too late for a pill.

Once you cum inside her you're rights are gone. She's in control from that point.

I don't think you need to force anything. All I have to do is tell a girl the condom broke and she'll go running to the local pharmacy in the morning. I don't meet many young girls (18-21) who want to be mothers.

Don't like the sound of forced abortions. But just as a woman can unilaterally decide whether or not to become a mother, the man must be able to unilaterally decide whether he accepts moral (i.e. financial) responsibility to be a father.

This would be neither desirable nor just. The answer is a simple one. If women want 100% of the choice by virtue of it being their own body, they must accept 100% of the responsibility. Not this he's responsible too bullshit.

Feminists often accuse us of wanting responsibility-free sex. We merely don't want any responsibility where we have no choice and no rights.

If a woman can decide to have the child on the exclusive merits of her own volition, a man should have the decision on whether or not he wants to be a part of the child's life or support the child.

Society needs to take away the free stuff and pity cards single mothers get handed out. This behavior needs to be discouraged. I'm from a single mother household and look how wonderful I turned out, haha.

@samseau a lot of women HATE the morning after pill bc they get really sick for 2 days. And so they say "ill just keep my fingers crossed" ... seriously. LOTS of women refuse to go on the pill as well bc of how negatively it affects their bodies. They get really sick and hormonoes go out of whack, they turn absolutely nuts 24/7. Of course, many of my friends have kids young and everyone including me has at least one pregnancy scare. LOTS of miscarriages though (lucky me).

I think its a geopolitical thing, women on northeast side are educated, conservative, pro-birth control, pro abortion. One speculation is the possibility that the quality of food affects womens bodies differently, and women in the south get different food than women in the north and the east and west. Or the women are getting different quality birth control in different areas of the U.S.

I am honestly appalled by how many guys are ok with leaving their lives in the hands of another person. I expect people to say stuff like, "if she was admanant about having the kid, would pretend to be ok with it and slip her the abortion medicine via food or on my dick then leave once she miscarries." I guess different people react to shackles in a different way... some are surprisingly ok with it.

If men had a choice to not become financially burdened when a child is born, then most women wouldn't want to keep the children.
