Quote:It makes perfect sense as to why marriage means a LOT to women. It's the ultimate form of security and stability and feeds their vicious, narcissistic egos to the very upper limit.

It basically says to them, all the slooting around and mistakes they've made in your past don't matter anymore. All those 10" poles, gang bangs, ONS, abortions, etc., don't matter. They've found a beta male now. He will pay the bills, take care of them, take their bullchit and abuse, and be there for them once they gain a lot of weight after having kids and becoming ugly with age (otherwise they get half his assets).

She will show off her expensive ring to her friends (the more expensive the ring, the more beta the husband), and they will all admire how she bagged the ultimate beta. She will go all out with her wedding planning because it's a big extravagant event, and she wants to attract as much attention to herself as possible while she's at her best, her most beautiful, with her hair done, her make-up done, her expensive dress; everything has to be absolutely perfect because she's perfect and wants everyone else to know it and validate her.

Just in case she's craving a few extra cawks before her big day, there's always the bachelorette party which gives her an excuse to sloot around "with the girls" before tying the knot. If she still needs more dinks, she can always make beta hubby work more (because working 80+ hours a week to hit CEO status is the man's job), while she lays on her back at home getting filled up by Tyrone, and it doesn't matter if hubby finds out or not because he'll be in a big financial and emotional mess if he goes through divorce but he can't handle that since he'll be working so much so he'll accept his fate. Win win for the sloot.

Marriage fills all checkboxes for a sloot's fantasy life.

My girlfriend told me that the last hen night that she went on, the bride to be was fucked by a random drunk. This of course was kept secret by the bridesmaids. The groom must have thought she was a princess walking triumphantly done the aisle.

A friend of mine was having a bachelor party down the Jersey shore. We ran into a bachelorette party and the two groups merged.

The groom-to-be and the bride-to-be (strangers up until this night) drunkenly reasoned that the perfect way to end their single life would be to hook up.

He is still married and has kids, no idea what her status is.

I am by no means an advocate of marriage, but at the same time under the right circumstance (if you can control your woman, get snatch on the side and be the boss of the household) it can be rewarding.

I understand all these femcunts around these days are poisoned, but I still, in the future, want to get married and have kids.

Doesn't mean it is a good idea to marry her just because she is a gem. I guess if you want kids, maybe it makes sense. You can still have children out of wedlock and stay together.

I'm always wary of people who claim their friends do trifle shit but they were just an observer. "My girlfriend fucked the Redskins secondary but i would'nt do that". Dodgy Birds of a feather and all it entails.

"I have refused to wear a condom all of my life, for a simple reason – if I’m going to masturbate into a balloon why would I need a woman?"

This pales in comparison to what I've seen first hand.

WOW i find it funny how so many guys are against marriage , even when its a good thing!
Fact: most so called players aren't picking up hot chicks every day ,week or even month. They are not having A lot of sex(despite what they brag about)
fact: men always complain about money but what the hell else you are working for? There is just so much pizza, beers you can buy your friends , or video games to justify working.Historically , men want to be a provider, its an alpha male thing.
fact: for those that claim only reason to get married is for children. Re think that. Most marriages actually end sometime during the period of time raising the kids. I am married 11 years, no kids and divorce isn't even an option. But most of my friends who married an American chick and had kids are divorced. Having kids divides a couple. They are stressful and since wifey isn't going to take it out on the kid , she will take it out on YOU!
My father summed it up " most marriages fail because the women becomes a mother and stop's being a WIFE!". For you divorced guys , isn't that what happened? Regardless of kids or NOT , she stopped acting like a wife!

Marriage is great, its MANS ability to choose the proper women that is the problem!

While you definitely have some good points, just by the math of it, not every man is going to have the option of a proper woman, so for a lot of men, avoiding marriage might be the best option.

Civilize the mind but make savage the body.

I was married 6 years. It's really not all bad.

I think the problem is controlling and monagamous marriage. In the old days a man was expected to have concubines or mistresses. Today a woman expects to have total dominion over the man's genitals. As a result marriage has become intolerable for most.

Will Smith recently hit 15 years of marriage. Here's a guy who sees an onslaught of gorgeous pussy every day after his dick. But Jada's smarter than most. She realized that a man will respond to good treatment and intellectual stimulation. She leaves the back door open knowing he'll always return.

Marriage can be good but finding a proper and wise wife is quite the trick indeed.

I agree. Things like having exceptional judgment of character and sophisticated slutdar have always been important. In the long-term, there's still a chance of a woman undergoing some drastic change and still leading to the divorce courts, but it's overstated, and it's underdevelopment in those things that have led so many men to trouble.

Regardless of what we think of personally marrying someone, we have to step back and realize that, for all the injustices and sad endings we see in the news, there are still millions of couples in the United States alone who are happily married, and they'll die loving each other.

I think the example of my parents is perfect example. My dad married my mom, and now they're both in their fifties, and all throughout the last two and a half decades she's helped teach me when I was a kid, cooks for the family, we go on vacations, she still loves following his lead, he takes his role as head of the family seriously and has never allowed his authority to lapse, their social circles overlap a lot. She's remained thin/slender and kept her looks, my dad's kept in shape and keeps expanding his interests and hobbies.

I think much of this divorce and alimony disaster is mostly due to guys going awry from the beginning, they fatally misjudged the women that they married.

I've only ever slept with one girl who's my girlfriend for approximately six months, and by now I know she has many great qualities, but also the incompatibilities and flaws like the slutiness of her friends, the fact she picked a particularly useless liberal arts major and went tits-deep into debt for it, small nuances in our interactions, things on her Facebook page, how appreciative she is if I make a genuine effort as a boyfriend etc.

Every day of talking and hanging out and being close tells me more about her, and I pay attention. Six months in this case was enough for me to know that us marrying is the wrong move.

It takes self-honesty and above all else, a grounding in abundance mentality and faith there will be a girl just as great, or even greater. (This is I think the single greatest gift of game, the curing of scarcity, which would otherwise keep you with a girl too long and inflating her image in your mind of her. Scarcity is the downfall of men.) All guys have their non-negotiables, and they notice their girlfriends violate them, but the male hamster if allowed to will ignore it, or just let it pass. They get married, then the predictable things happen.

If 'under certain circumstances it's rewarding', i question how we differ in what we think a 'reward' is.

If her father is a hedge fund magnate, damn straight. Getting a mazzerati and a yacht for each anniversary would be a 'reward' - and those kinds of rewards help nicely when the assets of youth and beauty go away voluntarily rapidly.

If you find marriage rewarding, what is the reward?

P.S. I can have children and sex without marriage, i can do laundry by myself (although its inconvenient), and i can fend food wise. So what is the reward?
