So due to an unforeseen crisis of sorts, I am going to have to relocate back to NYC for a while. I need to be there for probably somewhere in a 3-6 month timeframe.

Too short to get a reasonable lease, too long to crash with anyone.

Does anyone know specific affordable long term hotels or solid airbnb rooms for such a period of time?

I found this on the upper west side for 1500-2000 a month but the reviews are pretty mixed.

I've got family also needing to relocate somewhere in lower Manhattan for about 5 months.
