FYI I will make the draft on a Sunday or weeknights as that is most convenient.

Okay, this seems to be CThunder's gig, so I will just offer up a potential point spread.

One QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE), DST & K

Very traditional, but I prefer higher scoring leagues.

QB: 10 pt touchdowns, 1 pt for every ten yards throwing, with a 5 point bonus for over 300 yards.

RB: 10 pt touchdowns, 1 pt for every ten yards rushing, with 10 point bonus for over 100 yards.

WR & TE: Same as RB

D/ST: 10 point touchdowns, 2 points an interception, 1 point for a sack, and 3 points for fumble recovery

Kickers: at least 3 points every field goal, with 1 point added for 30-39 yards, 2 points added for 40-49, and 3 points for 50+.

Thoughts?

That would make it a QB first league. Brees would routinely score 40 points a game while everyone else suffers. add PPR and lower it to 1 point to every 25 yards passing. Everything else is good.

I'm in.

I've never done PPR, so I will have to get prepared for that if we decide to do PPR.

As far as the scoring, sure QB's dominate, consider the state of the NFL right now. Rodgers, Brady, P. Manning, Brees are elite. Ryan, Wilson, Kaepernick, E. Manning, Roethlisberger will all put up good stats. In a 12 team league, a couple teams will miss out on the best, but those teams will have Peterson, Foster, C. Johnson and Fitzgerald. Top RB's will consistently put 20+ games. Dude who almost won league a few years back had a triple-headed monster at RB with a mid-range QB.

Still, I know it is not conventional. Dropping QB passing to 25 yards is cool, it will shave off about 10 points from QB's, making them a good bit less valuable. Fine with me.

Yes, I am in. I don't want to do it for money, as I am already tied up financially in at least one other league.

If CT wants to be, I am fine with it. As long as he doesn't block my trade with you where you send me Rodgers for Convict81.

I am fine with either approach as far as regular or PPR. I think as long as the rules are made clear to everyone, then everyone gets a chance to adjust their strategies accordingly.
