This may seem strange, but I can't be unique in my experience.

I often experience women "light-heartedly" talk about murdering me, while we are in bed. Occasionally the threat is castration. It occurs while intimate before or after sex, and sounds like this:

Her: You know, I could easily kill you by smothering you in your sleep

or

Her: I'd kill you if you cheated on me. Maybe cut your head off.
Me: (shocked, but trying to lighten it up) Man, I'd be so pissed with you!
Her: no you wouldn't. You'd be dead.

Now, generally this has happened with LTRs (basically harem members) who I more or less trusted. Also, these are not pyscho bitches. The personality type I attract are calm, low drama people. They are not drug or alcohol abusers, BPD, etc. Normal stable women.

I was shocked the first couple of times, but as I haven't felt physically in danger I'm getting used to it. But it's happened with 2 of my last 4 lays and 4-5 out of the last 20.

So what is going on here? My guess is it's a possessive reflex as somehow this is establishing sole ownership of me and my sperm. Which is something they didn't have as my women basically know I'm a player. And it occurs in a sexual context just after a good fucking and the haze of hormones breaks down the filters and this stuff just comes out. Very curious.

Well, yes, they are just "joking". But I don't joke that way with them, or with my buddies. There is a sexual power play going on here, and a repeating pattern. Just wondering if anyone can chime in with some psychoanalysis or personal experience.

Yeah, I'm sure there's some kind of psychological power-play to it. Just don't know if I'd let it keep you from sleeping, as you mentioned in your original version of the post.

If it is a suggestion meant to gain some kind of power, I reckon it's a quite desperate and pathetic one, seeing as how ludicrous it is. Amplify or ignore. Or tell them you'll cut out there pussy and see how that thought strikes them. I always found it interesting how women find the subject of male castration funny but female castration tends to be so taboo...

Women in Thailand joke about giving you the chop all the time too, and here it actually is scary because it happens more here than any other country in the world. I've also had a girl that repeatedly off-handedly mentioned how I should be aware of the multitude of ways to stealthily kill someone, the most important being antifreeze in a drink, and that she would probably kill me if I cheated on her.

I can't say that I felt threatened at all, but I did remark that I was concerned about the future of our relationship because she might suffer from a mental illness and mistakenly believe that I was cheating on her, leading her to realize her homicidal impulses.

That said, Balboa is on to something. Many women seem to derive some perverse pleasure from making idle threats like this, and there is definitely some sort of sexual power-play at work. Maybe it's related to you being significantly higher value than her.
