Interesting. I wonder if this will only work for very good looking men - girls might need a significant 'payoff' for the risk of sharing a room with a dude.

At first I couldn't see myself using this. But I could see it being beneficial if the price of a 2 bedroom suite or AirBnB spot is a lot less than twice what a one bedroom is (it usually is). If your roommate is a girl, you have a chance at banging her, otherwise, you pick up another girl and take her to your room. Maybe use your roommate as a pivot when you go out.

How are you going to pull chicks back to your room?

Not recommendable for international playboys. You may just get a cheaper place instead of sharing a room with another person.
