State of Mind: The Psychology of Control - Amazing Documentary
It's a documentary I stumbled across the other day through Alex Jones, and this video I'm posting is the same, but with the interviews in studio with him and the film makers cut out.
It's about how the school system, psychiatric industry, media and quasi-governmental groups control how we think and what their aims are.
I thought about posting it because of the "heteronormative" thread, and how language is altered to change the way people think about things, and it pushes people into a corner on to what they are 'allowed' to say. It's a form of control to keep people afraid of authority. It fucking stinks.

What do you think of Alex Jones?
I think he is interesting and intelligent. And he has alot of obscure facts which are fun to hear.
But at times he seems a parody of himself.
Bit weird.
I think you created a thread about him previously, and I said what I think there. Sorry to be abrupt, but I can't be bothered going into it again mate!
Edit: Just searched the forum, and I can't find it, but I'm sure there was one....? But to answer your question; I like him, I think he is a bit too loud and arrogant for his own good though, and is also a lot more aware of his commercial value than he lets on. Sometimes his facts are wrong too, and he relies too heavily on Lyndon LaRouche's theories for his knowledge. Similar to Webster Tarpley in that respect. However, I think a lot of what he says is true, especially about Cultural Marxism and stuff. I think a lot of people in Britain think he's a nutter cos of the Piers Morgan thing, and I can see why, absolutely. However, I've sort of changed my mind about the gun thing, America can't ban guns as it's too far down the line and they are too proliferated.

Ah yeah that was the thread, I knew there was one, at least related! That doc though has seriously made me question everything even more than I already have done. I mean, I've taken anti-anxiety drugs before, and it makes me wonder whether it's a real condition. I mean, nobody was 'depressed' in 1492 were they!

I haven't been to Infowars in a while. I used to listen to Alex Jones' podcast every day, but stopped having time for it last year.
The group that produced that video, Tragedy And Hope, is pretty good. I've gotten a lot of good information from them, and their membership. Their video, What You've Been Missing, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43-Zr2tbX9Y is a good place to start.

Hey Teedub,
I posted up a thread on Adam Curtis recently. Very good stuff there. In terms of this thread - I would recommend 'Century Of The Self' to see Adam Curtis' take on these issues (alot of it goes back to a nephew of Sigmund Freud called Edward Bernays).
As for psychiarty - you probably know my views there, since I have mentioned my sceptical take on it a few times here on the forum.
The best take down I have seen are in some of the links I gave in this thread:

I'll take a look at those links and the vid. Yeah Bernays is mentioned frequently in the doc I posted in this original post. He's the father of propaganda.
