CT Fletcher - Gym Motivation
Though I'd share one of my favorite bodybuilders giving away motivational/instructional videos on Youtube:

CT Fletcher.

This is a genuine guy. It motivates me quite a bit to watch some of his videos before lifting. I am by no means a body builder but he gives some advice that is applicable in many of life's aspects.

Whether it is about overcoming your own limitations:

...About being alpha:

...or just commanding your biceps to grow:

I really get a good vibe from this guy. Thought I'd share.

CT is awesome. Elliot Hulse is good also for a good outlook on life and legitimate training knowledge. The Hodge Twins are good because they are hilarious, though they throw in a lot of bro science.

I've never seen this guy before---good post. He looks to be over 50 and he's built like an NFL linebacker.

Hulse>>>

Hulse has like 4 years of amazing videos. His knowledge demands respect and he is one of the few whom is truly strong internally and externally. Much respect.

CT Fletcher is cool but he talks to much. You hardly see him lift and when you do it's biceps or chest with the smith machine.

CTs homie Mike Rishad is legit though. I prefer his channel a lot better, you get more lifting and his routines are really fuking intense - like they will destroy the shit out your muscles for days.

RE: CT Fletcher - Gym Motivation
I don't see CT Fletcher as the same thing as Hulse. He is more into motivation that actually teaching or showing exercises. Even he admits that his technique is not really good. But he doesn't care. I think it's a good way to think about it to some extent.

Sometimes I get really fed up with guys always criticizing posture and workouts and they think they know all. Of course it is important to know what you are doing but lots of things come with time and practice and each man will have his own formula for success. CT puts that into perspective and says "Just do it and shut up". He may not be the best technically. But he puts you on the right mindset to work. And he has the body to show for it and the track record to prove it.

Vegan gains is hateporn. He's a bitchy cunt who hates on everyone and he gets views because people love to hate him.

That said, he's not exactly wrong about CT. I mean sure he doesn't need to be a juvenile twat about it, but that is his MO so whatever. CT abused the shit out of his body for years and years so it's not so surprising that he is in poor health, and he continues to abuse his body even during his state of compromised health so dude is pretty much asking for it.

It's getting more and more difficult to get me motivated to visit the gym. I'm becoming a lazy ass.

RE: CT Fletcher - Gym Motivation
Sounds to me like going to the gym is not actually a habit you've formed yet, just something you do here and there because you think you should.

Something that helped me make a habit out of it was progress. Once I started on a routine and actually tracked was I was doing in the gym and saw my performance increasing, it motivated me to want to keep going and see how much better I could do. Eventually being consistent just becomes a habit and you feel weird if you miss a workout, like you forgot to shower or brush your teeth.

At the end of the day the only way to make it a habit is to keep doing it until not doing it causes you some kind of anxiety or guilt. However you can trick yourself into doing that is the way to go.
