Hard to say without knowing him. Another case of trying to use alpha/beta dichotomies to come up with an answer to everything in life when it just isn't possible.

A little story about just one guy I know.

One of my best friends is this guy who no one in the world would call a beta and even if a guy twice his size did he'd start swinging, right there on the spot, because he's just that crazy. I've seen him actively try to fight crowds of people - scratch that, I've seen him actually fight crowds of people, multiple times. One time when we were partying he smacked a Hell's Angel in the face with his beer...hard. The guy he hit was not only a monster but we were surrounded by HAs when it happened - I honestly thought we were going to die that night.

This guy owns the dynamics in most rooms he walks into. One of the most gifted natural athletes I've ever met. Women who spend some time around him naturally want to fuck him even though he's kind of ignorant and not exactly the greatest looking guy on earth - they just like that he's so confident and bold and that a lot of men look up to him or are intimidated by him.

As far as women go, I've also seen this guy bang 7 chicks in 3 days in America on a roll. Many of them ugly, but not all. He does a lot of married chicks and his game is pretty in-your-face - grabbing random asses, etc. Has had many threesomes and never read a sentence of "game" literature.

Now to the interesting part.

He had this old lady that he was with for years and she would straight up unload on him when she got pissed. Native American chick and she's a psycho. Super jealous. I've seen black eyes she's given him and bite marks so hard they broke his skin. She fucked a ton of guys behind his back (though he often did the same to her) and he straight pined over her for years, buying her shit and dealing with the craziness.

He also gets jealous of her and has attacked or fought quite a few of his good friends at one time or another because he thought they were making a move on his girl, even though many were not.

I personally think he's a major idiot when it comes to women - sometimes pathetically so. If he doesn't master this area of his life he'll end up in jail or dead over a woman. He's an extreme, emotional person.

But a beta? Not a chance in your life.

And as for pressing charges, that sequence of words isn't even in his vocabulary.

Not that I'm saying this guy from the story is even on the same level, but the point is that the world is simply not that black and white.

I personally think the fact that he didn't press charges was beta. But the fact that dude got his ass kicked by a girl that probably doesn't even weigh 120 lbs is beta. All he would of had to do is pin her down until she calmed down or something like that so it doesn't leave any marks.

Exactly right. Charges are for when she steals your kid or your money, not for a bloody nose.

There are plenty of guys who are alpha as fuck, Marines, soldiers, body builders, who are complete pussies when it comes to women, or to certain women. This whole alpha/beta thing is a useful tool when you are trying to get your mind right, but things are not so simple.

I mean the whole concept of push/pull is just an application of alpha/beta, and no one truly thinks it's effective to always push the girl or to pull her in. The problem is an imbalance of alpha/beta, not beta actions on their own. If you fear too much about appearing beta, that means you ARE beta (not directed at OP).

if you have her pinned down and sitting on top of her and holding down both her wrists and laugh while she struggles then she will have a hard time doing damage. (btw, i do this totally playfully and not at all violently)

It isn't about her doing damage. It is about leaving marks on her while you restrain her so it doesn't look like you were beating on her.

Maybe I need to get into MMA. The few times I had to do this always left marks on her arms or wrists.

Indeed, most women regret calling the police because a man often loses his job as a result of the DV charges. Now she's lost a bread winner/provider.

In life I am about finding out how to personally gain rather than wantonly inflicting punishment on people.

Some people need hurt, to be sure. But if you can turn a situation into one that benefits you, why not do that instead?

Exactly. The bite marks likely came when he tried to restrain her (has happened to me). Bloody nose was due to her cat like reflexes in getting the first punch in. We all know how woman can do full 11/10 crazy in a blink of an eye.

Pressing charges on her? I cant imagine going through all that bullshit. I go out of my way to keep the law out of my private life. Inviting them in to sort out a busted nose and a few bite marks is not worth my time.

I doubt he called the cops. It was probably someone in the next hotel room that heard the fight and called them. He would be setting himself up to look bad if he called the cops. The press always loves these types of stories.
