Agree, I haven't been to South America before but have been to the other two regions. I just got back from EE and now the western girls in my country just don't seem worth it. I mean I still pump and dump them but their cuntish/masculine attitudes are often not worth the effort.

No I'm still in Manila, a few more weeks at least.

There are worse things than going back to Vegas but even that seems like a drag.

Met up with Sp5 and CrisGambi last night and before we all got too smashed I remember saying "we can't go back".

We were meant for far more than to suffer in our self created prisons only to die alone. It doesn't have to be that way. It never did.

Fisto is right. Some of my most enjoyable adventures have been as a result of slumming it.

BTW, if I had taken 3 xanax before going out to a bar I would be drooling on the floor. That leads me to believe you have quite a tolerance and may have built up a habit. I watched a friend of mine develop a serious problem after returning from overseas where prescription drugs were available OTC. Be careful xanax/valium are the hardest things to kick.

The only drug that can treat Eastern Europe withdrawal symptoms is a travel to Eastern Europe.Serotonin levels return to normal levels in this case just in some hours.

RE: Depressed in Los Angeles After a 3 Month Trip in Eastern Europe
I did seven weeks in Thailand and a week in Rio. I have been back in the USA for two months this week and got a job. I dread going out, approaching these American bops, paying five bucks for a beer, all the big body people, how much services cost, the fact that I pay for gas and lack of public transportation.

I am going into gf search mode. Why? Because this game is rigged down here. I am young, smart, cool, have a good sense of style, in shape, worldy, can talk about bullshit to politics, and these hoes want some bullshit. Either way one girl will give me access to pussy so I can focus on my side hustles and saving for my Rio World Cup business plan.

After seeing feminine women who actually enjoy talking to you, I cant stand the games and flakes I have been getting. Something we have to deal with being on this side of the world. I am bullshittin on having one girl but I need a solid rotation to keep me focused.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

RE: Depressed in Los Angeles After a 3 Month Trip in Eastern Europe
If this forum was around when I was in my 20s I'd be long gone even though ass was a plenty back then. Now I'm stuck here to raise my kid and think and make money but planning to relive my 20s in my 50s.

Another thing. LA is hard to have a strong social circle because everyone is fake. Where I live you can roll solo non-stop because you will run into multiple social circles during your night and pluck girls from them. I would say the best place to live for that here with the hottest girls would be Orlando. Note we have nobody posting here from there. Probably too busy with all the ass.

Anyway my suggestion for LA guys is to gather your money and leave for anyplace else.

RE: Depressed in Los Angeles After a 3 Month Trip in Eastern Europe
I know how you feel...same thing happens after multiple trips. It's not so much just the girls but more the predictability and how boring life starts to get after returning. You also see that you can relate to less and less people. I've noticed though that I'm much more focused when I return to make money and get shit done for the sole reason of preparing for my next trip. My whole purpose is to have a life where I can be totally mobile and work from my laptop, and hopefully it's getting there. Just keep working at putting your finances in check, save up, look for good long-term investments where you can eventually live off the passive income, focus on learning new languages and things that will help you while abroad and keep your vision constant. I know I some like a tony robbins infomercial but it's kind of true. You really need to have that focus on what you want to you regarding designing your life outside US or else you'll keep falling back into a sort of depression.

Yeah, anti-anxiety meds make you irritable as well, which is reflected in your post.

To the OP, I live in Miami and I found many similarities between what you wrote about LA and my experience here. I hate Miami and the only thing that keeps me sane is that I know eventually I'll leave this place, so it's just temporary.

Is this LA's fault or is this your fault?

Maybe a little of both?

I don't know? When people say "please be friends with me", they usually reek of beta and have some major inner game issues.

No offense to you OP, this is just food for thought.

When guys on here are depressed, we are quick to blame the city, the location, and the outer circumstances.

But, my first reaction is, how is your inner game? Are you working on your inner game? What steps are you taking to minimize depression and increase confidence? What is your confidence building game plan?

I'm gonna take some shit for this but I will say it:

I think the OP is being a little bit mentally weak and emotionally soft.

You are in Southern California, you have money.

Many men have died trying to be in your position.

Sometimes, the problem is not the outer circumstances but more the inner circumstances.

Just saying. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

If there is a problem, fix it. Complaining is beta and womanly.

Maybe, I am being a dick?

I'm not rich, I'm not tall, does anyone feel sorry for me?

Maybe, he is just venting?

Cut him some slack. He just came back from Eastern Europe. I know you think highly of Southern California, but to be honest Eastern Europe crushes Southern California in the quality, quantity and personality of its women. He is just having "withdrawal" symptoms.

Maybe he is venting, but I thought this board was about a supportive forum for guys to sort their shit out. He has posted some good posts about his trips and seems very genuine and sincere vs. some people who get on here and bullshit (not directed at anyone). Maybe he doesn't have an outlet for his feelings. Sounds like his "friends" and him might not be on the same page. And when he was traveling it seemed like he was having success during his travels.

I think it was just a mind dump post - meaning he just posted everything he was feeling and in that moment maybe he felt lonely and he posted that.

If every day there was a post from him along these lines, I guess maybe there would be some concern. But he just got back and reality is hitting him and it isn't sitting well.

I don't think he asked anyone to feel sorry for him.

Can't we just let him be human?

You're right.

I just wanted to give a little tough love.

I wanted to play "devils advocate". Everyone was feeling sorry for him but I want him to take control of his mindset. I want him to learn that even if your situation is bad, you can still control your mind not slip into negativity.

Maybe, my tough love will help him, maybe not.

I wanted to provide a different perspective on this.

I like to fight depression with action.

Don't get me wrong - 2 weeks of depressing posts from him and I'll jump off a bridge lol jk.

And I understand tough love - sometimes we need to be slapped out of a moment - I totally agree.

TBH, your posts about your success in SoCal - is evidence that it is possible. I won't go into the bits about LA vs OC vs IE vs LBC, different types of chicks, etc. You are getting vagina so I respect that. Keep up your posts and I might have to start getting back into the game - not gonna let a not tall, not rich guy get laid in my city and me sitting on my ass lol. Smile

Yeah it sux I came home after 5 months being surrounded by EE hotties and got pretty down as well, seeing all those ugly women back home.
Now Im busting my ass to get my finances in order and finish university so I can GTFO. About 8 more months then Im outta here. Stay strong and get an exit strategy. Btw I had a friend who did an exchange semester in LA and he loved it, said the women are all big whores over there lol.

RE: Depressed in Los Angeles After a 3 Month Trip in Eastern Europe
I once lived in Brazil where the girls were beautiful. Much more beautiful than San Francisco.

When I got home, I was not depressed. I was actually happier. Brazil taught me a lot about how to live with passion.

I focused on the positive aspects of my trip. What I learned, etc.

I ignored the negative.

Here is a tactic that works for me -- Do not look at ugly girls. Literally. I have trained my eyes and my mind to not even acknowledge uglies and fatties. I don't even see them.

I only see beauty. My mind only registers cute chicks.

This sounds crazy but it is my reality. I don't look at fat chicks. When I go out, I only see the hot ones.

If something is gonna depress me, I don't let it enter my mind. What we focus on, is what grows.

To me, this is the problem with depression treatment in America. We focus on why we are depressed. I think thats the wrong strategy. Better to focus on why we are happy.

Ignore the negative and chase your passion.

A method that has worked for me.

Stop hanging out with your friends, stop going out, MAKE MASSIVE CHANGES in your lifestyle and thinking.

I know no other way.

Yes this is great strategy when you live in a city where the women are quiet ok in terms of looks. Now imagine if you were living in a city where you can go weeks without seeing an 8 in your book and you know you could be in a city where you could be approaching minimum 3 8's a day, where would you rather be? Fucking is a numbers game, where do you think you will be more likely to fuck and get better quality? Wouldn't you feel depressed if you were in a city where you don't see that many hot women and you know you could be in a better place?

As pegador has said, its not just the women aspect, you also start relating to fewer people. Think about the ugly weather ( i am sure your city has better weather than London), the food that is not so nice, the people that don't seem to like each other, etc.

Seriously. Some ugly, poor Gopnik in the FSU can still be banging girls that look like models. God help him if he had to compete for similar looking girls in L.A. He'd hang himself.
