My guess is that the thread got locked because the EE side was becoming more of an entertainment/beef starting session. The only part of the post that I somewhat agree with is for better or worse i do see a move towards lots of the posts becoming entertaining rather than informative.

I'm certainly not helping the cause as the last month or so i've been more in the highly arrogant mode. With that said I'll write up a quick guide right now on what i do for dance floor game over on the other section of the site (similar to the text guide i laid out from one of Roosh's threads).

Modding this site would be a lot of work.

You have aggressive personalities, people who post great stuff but then race troll, sensitive nancy boys who report "personal attacks," newbies, hater trolls, meltdowns, IRTs, European guys who need delicate treatment, stealth trolls, and who knows what else that happens behind the scenes.

That's a lot of "admin" stuff to handle and it's thankless work.

DexterMogran's temp ban was deserved because he was attacking WestCoast with all of the ferocity of a scorn 13 year old girl. He disagrees in the same manner as a woman, emotionally like a little bitch. No need for that here.

However, ElMec's Master Meltdown thread locking is unjust and unRVFconstitutional, and I demand it be reopened. Along with Fisto's Eulogy thread.

He's failing to see the difference between actual debate and disagreement, and flat-out trolling. Sites that simply allow all kinds of bullshit end up being just that - bullshit. Threads and comments sections are immediately derailed and ruined, with absolutely NO debate or presentation of ideas and opinions. Clowns get the hammer quickly to prevent that from happening here.

I'm seeing the trend of members wanting to engage in gossip and "emotional discussion", particularly mechanico, ali, and worldwidetraveler. You guys really need to get your drama fix elsewhere. I get enough from women... I don't want to see it here.

If the main value you're contributing is gossip, you may want to try other forums that allow that.

My inbox is always open for forum suggestions, but public meltdowns are frowned upon. If someone melts down once... they will melt down again.
