Isn't that everywhere?

I've been thinking of hitting up Boston soon though. Wouldn't there be a lot less college-aged girls?

You would think, but as of late there are a ton of single girls. Why, I have no idea. Let me know when you're in town. Tavern in the Square in Allston is a shit show.

No offense, but some of the ugliest, and fattest girls I've seen at Boston has been at that bar, for over three consecutive years. Laugh Going to an Allston bar when school's out is just silly IMO. Unless you live there, you're better off hunting elsewhere.

I'd rather hit on the hot girls than let the ugly ones approach me.

And you guys are totally wrong about the gender balance in Boston. Over age 40 and there are vastly more women than men. Under age 30 and it's more men than women. And that's with the students. Without the students pickings can be slim as men ranged from 20-40 are all gunning for girls in their twenties.

Boston is actually pretty bad for men, but it's better than most small towns or cities in America. By American city standards, Boston is middle of the road. By international standards, it's awful.

And winter time is brutal; I've had a dry spell lasting over a month or more each winter here. And other players I talk to all tell me the same thing.

None taken.

At least in my travels women are kind of all over the place in terms of attractiveness. The boner test is the ultimate test for me.

But yeah, Boston's culture is definitely dictated by its winter. There is not a whole heck of a lot one can do there. The best advice I can give anyone being stuck in Boston during the winter is to develop a good social group. This type of gaming will hold you off until the spring. First sign of hot weather = girls coming out of hibernation.

I still run into a lot of college aged girls staying in town during the summer. It's a nice set up honestly. The way I have my life set up seems to attract girls naturally. Nice clothes, working out for feeling good, and making some decent money is all it takes. So far it is working for me.

I still would rather be in NYC. That is on the to do list later on in my life.

In NYC, almost every party-bar has a bouncer/doorman. Especially now that the cops have been going ape shit cracking down on underage.

Yeah, that would be tough advice to follow in Las Vegas, Miami Beach, San Diego, Los Angeles etc.

Even dive bars in California have a doorman checking ID.

Then sometimes the bartender again checks your I.D. after you get inside. I had never heard of anything like that in New Jersey.

Well you're in the wrong place then. My post is all about experience and where the girls came from. I can pull from nightclubs but it's 100X more work and I didn't have anyone to tell me not to go there 22 years ago so I'm telling you guys now.

I can't remember when I have ever had to show my ID in Miami. Maybe a girl I was with. Maybe once.

I remember my Dad even getting ID'd in San Diego at a high end hotel bar!

So glad I am out of that state. It is just insane.

That is the reason you don't want to wear a cheap suit with poor tailoring.

Or have the look and vibe of someone that wears a nametag to work.

Unless of course they thought you were the owner of hotel, which can be a good thing (depending on hotel ie Wynn = Good. Holiday Inn in the suburbs = bad).

RE: Do Guys Not Want to Game Anymore?
I think the problem isn't the venue of game, it's the mis-match and foggyness of guys' intentions and what they actually do. A lot of guys are ignorant of game.

They just go and do girl game, which essentially boils down to just standing in the proximity of their object of desire and hoping that it will come to them.

There are also myths about coolness that gets misinterpreted by a lot of guys or are co-opted by them as an excuse not to open. I say open instead of approach, because approach implies going up to the girl.

Most guys want to do what I do; they want to hang at the bar and not walk up to girls.

When I play spider game, and I will open when the girl gets into my web. I think a lot of these guys are expecting too much from the girls because they don't see the innate differences between men and women (which has been blurred thanks to shows like sex in the city). They expect the girl to take charge, and also don't want to be seen as creeper/rapist if they fail in an approach.

If I'm not playing spider game, I will approach.

I think a lot of guys don't have any idea what to say if a girl does approach their area in the bar. That's why they immediately jump to "can I buy you a drink"

These guys just don't have experience and are too coddled and need to go and learn about game and try things out.

Or play cause a shitload of problems game (my specialty) which doesn't work well with security. In a bar environment you need to get the girls emotions moving regardless if it's negative you can turn it around later.

Too much flaking, getting screwed over, having a girl act like she's different only to be exactly the same as the last one, getting absolutely chewed out by a girl's friends when you approach her in a group (and they wonder why guys don't approach). I understand that they may not be into the guy that's approaching them, but the rejections could be a lot less harsh and not involve their friends (which makes the rejection feel 'Public').

Exactly that, and I'm speaking from Brazil.

The issue is, 1 year ago, 2 years ago was completely different. You approached and at least you would some conversations for sure.

Now, girls seem pleased to say they reject a lot of guys, I don't have any clue. Some years ago you would see a lot of couples getting out of parties when it's over, now? Girls leave single with their groups.

I'm speaking mostly from rock and alternative parties, I have to yet check how "sertanejo" (country music) venues are nowadays, but I suspect they declined in the same proportion.

Cockblocking was not common at all. Now pretty regular.

Girls teasing just to get approached and reject.

Before, the deal was: approach and you'll get 1) some instant rejections, 2) some conversations followed by rejection, and 3) some conversation(s) followed by kissing, ONS being difficult but pretty possible.

Now, you have to be prepared to spam 10+ and get ridiculous rejections like instant ignoring, cockblocking, etc, and maybe talk to and kiss a 6 or 7 and put it on prospect to have sex later.

Of course there are days that things go the old way, but if the trend continues, by the end of the year that it will end forever.

Like David DeAngelo said, with online dating "You're playing the wrong game" when every Starbucks you walk into has at least one 7 sitting by herself studying (in a college town anyway.) If she actually wants to MEET SOMEONE REAL she'd stop eating Cheetos on her way to 146 lbs and GO OUT AND MEET SOMEONE REAL.

Haha, Cheetos.

I went out with two underage girls when I was in New York. They both ordered and received wine without any id check. Said it was usually not a problem (depending on the company).

What kind of venue(s)? I'm guessing they weren't typical bars but either wine bars or restaurant type places.

That's what I thought. Cops don't usually barge into those places. The most they have to worry about his surprise visits from health inspectors.

All the bars card like crazy now. I know a place that got a $50,000 fine after getting hit by an underage sting.

RE: Do Guys Not Want to Game Anymore?
Tying into the discussion about men using passive "girl game" - I was watching a movie yesterday - Before Sunrise. The plot is that an American guy and a French girl meet in a train bound to Vienna, where the guy convinces the girl to get off and have 24 hours of adventure with him.

I couldn't help but notice things from a game perspective.

She sits next to him after she doesn't like her earlier seat, and then they exchange a look. She smiles. Then they exchange another look. Then he opens her. Its like she's begging him to open her, and later on the movie she does admit that she sat next to him on purpose.

When they first kiss, she initiates it. You could be forgiven for thinking that for the entire scene, she's the man - from the body language to the way she puts her arms around him and pulls him in, she's leading. Throughout the movie, in fact, she's leading the interaction in many parts.

How often does that happen in real life? Yet, its not the first movie I've seen where the girl initiates.

RE: Do Guys Not Want to Game Anymore?
The thing when it comes to game is it's about demonstrating high value to girls. Maybe a while back I thought this was great. But after a while it becomes a question of why would you want to demonstrate high value to women? How long will that demonstration last and won't you feel a bit like you're pulling the wool over their eyes at some point if you go through that route? Part of gaming women is also gaming yourself. That's why I've subscribed to passive game and money combined with an in depth understanding of how women truly are, and yourself while you're at it.

I know some guys in the world are still completely clueless and others need to learn a few things, but by far I think a little active game is enough, the rest you want passive and cash in the bank, a life and time on your hands to do what you want. Living in a country where men aren't under attack is great. But gaming chicks? I'd avoid the west. It would make sense if I started seeing men stop gaming girls in the west also. Most girls in the US are starting to look like pigs with lipstick who think adding mannish character is sexy. Can you blame the guys for not wanting to game them? I know I can't.

Makes sense this movie got indie-big because Richard Linklater's movies are adored by SWPL even though they don't have any real substance.

Do both active and passive.

You're thinking of the game in terms of
guy that's active vs. guy that's passive.

Instead think of it as
yourself who's passive and not very active vs. guy that's both very active and very passive.
