The earlier pic was of Ryan with a soft focus lens.

She would look better with less aggressive plastic surgery. Does anybody here know where the surgeon went wrong? She can afford the best, it's probably her that forced him to go overboard.

It's better to have a few wrinkles and a less pouty mouth than that really artificial look. Also her smile is forced and doesn't look sincere. It's a paradoxical thing, wanting to avoid looking bad is making her look much worse.

51 is just old.

If a girl is 40 and looks good still, she has avoided the wall in my book, even though she's gonna be ugly soon enough.

The real issue with her is the ridiculous cosmetic surgery she's had to try to avoid the wall. If she had simply had some minor procedures, and let herself age a little more naturally, she'd be just fine for 51.

She held up well until around 40 or so. Then a combination of the wall and plastic surgery took its toll.

It's interesting to compare Meg Ryan to Russell Crowe, who's only a couple years younger than her. The actors co-starred in the 2000 movie "Proof of Life". At that point, Ryan still looked good for an older woman. Crowe was obviously in his prime.

Fast forward to 2013. Crowe is still in his prime, albeit at the tail-end, while Ryan is long past expired.

I don't know if its just me, but i can think of so many women in their 50s who are still very attractive (i always had a thing for older women, i may be biased) . Meg Ryan just didn't age well.

Looks like wall to me. Still better than Meg though. Without the 10 pounds of makeup and hair coloring, she's got tons of wrinkles, grey hair, leathery skin, sagging flesh...

I'm not bashing any woman who's 51 by the way. God knows most men look like hell by 50 too. This is just aging as a fact of life.

^^^ You probably had to search for ten minutes to find one unflattering photo. Hell we've even found photos of Kate Upton and Beyonce that look ugly. One bad cherry picked photo doesn't mean much.

Quite a few women from the first class of "Supermodels" looked pretty good at 50. Women that always maintained themselves will look reasonably good. There will always be some wrinkles around the eyes and a few more pounds, but you can look at them and still say they're attractive. It's the broads that stopped giving a fuck, got sloppy, then tried to recover that end up looking raggedy.
