Hey!
I live in NYC and have 3 days to myself. I really want to hop a bus or train and go somewhere alone for a couple days. Could be woodsy, could be beachy doesn't matter, just needs to be somewhere random (Not philly or DC or Boston - somewhere off the beaten path). Any suggestions?

You should consider hopping a train or bus to Montreal if your passport is in order. Other options could be the Hamptons (take the LIRR train). There are little satellite cities that MIGHT be worth checking out like the capital of NY which is Albany. You could take the Keystone train west to Harrisburg, PA (not sure if there's anything worth it out there though). All things considered, I think Montreal is by far your best bet if your paperwork & logistics (and budget) are in order.
