This isn't just about the hamster, but her profound misunderstanding of the arc of society.

Note the sleight of hand with respects to her career - she thinks a career makes her smart & interesting. Not only is that projection of her sexuality, she represents the false idea that education = intelligence. Also, she papers over apparent lack of personality with an emphasis on career success. From my perspective, I don't put alot of weight on career success because I know how much BS there is out there in corporations/govt jobs.

She talks about later in life marriages having more passion than younger ones - makes no sense. "Knowing what you want" is little more than stating you are settling. Passion=sexual attraction.

Also, her mention of financial stability is troubling. First, is the dual income problem. Women's employment hasn't created more wealth, but necessitate middle class people have two working parents. Also, why later in life? Studen loans - which keep pushing back family formation. People my age may sink into lower middle class status just because of greedy government collectors.

All bluster is that - rationalization. Unable to come to terms with the broken system that prevents family formation, rewards hypergamy, discourages male social investment and enslaves young people with crushing levels of debt before they can even buy beer - they just cough up dumb shit like this.

Articles like this will get more prevelant, insistent and hateful the closer we move collapse - espcially when more sad stories of student loan debt come out

If Chinese women are smart enough to get into America and make a living here, then they will be able to have their cake and eat it too.

Any woman can get married in America, the game is stacked for women until age 50 in America.

But if she's stuck in China - she's a future cat-lady.
