So last night, we had a little forum meetup in Athens, GA. renotime had gotten into town on Friday night and although there were some memorable moments (reno got rejected by a Ugandan girl on lithium in her car), nothing much of interest happened.

Yesterday, Ali meets us downtown during the day during a "Human Rights" day festival, immediately demanding to know "what the fuck is up with all these hippies?" He proceeds to begin ordering doubles of tequila. "Blackout game" was the mantra of the night.

Fast forward an hour as Ali demands food as he is "starved as fuck". We head over to a restaurant where a band is playing outside and a bunch of semi-cougars are hanging out. renotime and I order burgers and a pitcher; Ali orders 3 more tequila doubles....and no food.

Get dressed and hit downtown and while decent game is being run, I separate myself for a bit to scam (I get caught by some girl I'm fucking talking to another girl and had to deal with that bullshit...this town is too small sometimes). Meanwhile, renotime appears to be consoling Ali at the bar. In reality, he is trying to hear what he is saying as he has become a TAD incoherent at this point. Next thing I know, I'm downstairs with renotime as we try to get Ali outside. We figured that we were finally gonna get some food in Ali's tummy....8 tequila doubles later. No such luck...Ali is gone. Phone calls and texts go unanswered and he is nowhere in the bar. Who am I to stop blackout game?

I head home early and renotime gets back a short while later. Ali talked about getting a hotel so we assume hes up there. I wake up at 8AM to a missed call and a text from Ali. It read, "Broken ankle done". What. The. Fuck. This guy spends the better part of his 20s and 30s in war zones, and the DR and come to Athens for one night and destroys his ankle. I hit the gym and meet Ali at a restaurant to give his sunglasses back. Leg is wrapped up and propped up in the backseat. Between the hair and peg leg, he looked a bit like a pirate.

My theory is that following the Ali bashing and three-day banning, a curse was placed on Ali. He will now be out of commission for close to three months due to this curse. However, one of the last things he said to me on the phone was "chalk it up to the game".

I don't believe for one moment you were out in Athens just simply running game and getting drunk.

It is well known on here that Athens, GA is the sacred home of IRT.

I think you were doing a stakeout and Ali is using his broken ankle as a cover story.

Yeah, but you became a cripple saving a small child from being blown to bits while on tour in some war zone.

How is the scene in Athens during the summer? Is it worth the 70 minute drive out from Atlanta before the students get back or should I wait until football starts again? I imagine Athens is normally full of the hot pieces of barely legal tale I've seen in Buckhead the last couple of weekends.

Man, the same thing happened to me two years ago - got blasted one weekend and ended up stumbling down a steep step at a club and breaking my ankle. My foot formed a 90 degree angle with my ankle. Motherfucking hurt like a bitch. My physical therapist had an intern assistant who was just learning the ropes, a 21 year old skinny brunette who massaged my feet every visit. Got her number, went out, didn't get the bang. :|

The good news is, it only took a couple months to heal up. Now you just got to play crutches game.

That ankle was jacked from countless sprains. It was only a matter of time. Same one that was fucked up when I went to Clearwater to meet Emech.

I appreciate all ya'lls comments. I never felt so much pain. My ankle is fucking throbbing and the pills won't help much. Apparently I'm allergic to morphine. I freaked out and accused the doc of cutting off my leg and throwing it in the fire.

Then when a nurse came in I told her I'd fuck her in the ass. My mom and sis were in the room.
