Russians hacked it.

I was actually thinking to myself during the fourth quarter, "thank goodness Matt Ryan isn't Chris Chandler".

Only to watch the Falcons choke in yet another Super Bowl, where they again helped cement the legacy of one of the league's greatest quarterbacks.

Well at least nobody on the Falcons got caught hiring a hooker after accepting the Bart Starr Award for exemplifying outstanding character and leadership on and off the field this time.

Bro... I can't believe this. I went to a sports bar and was watching the game. An a half time this hot girl I've been chatting with on tinder said she wanted to hang out. I was gonna finish watching the game but after the Falcons score that touchdown in the third I was like "game over." An left to go meet this girl.... I missed what seems to be a epic ending and comeback. I'm pretty pissed.... even though the girl gave me a weed brownie when I met her and was down to go straight back to my place. Within 10 minutes I was fucking her... although when I pulled out the condom was not on my dick an that is kind of worrisome. Seems it was still lodged in the promise land. Any who, I fucked her again 10 minutes later... Whilst I was beating it up she said "break me" (be careful what you wish for) so I proceed to destroy her an she is screaming at the top of her lungs and I'm afraid the cops are gonna get called but stop me it does not. Finally she pushed me off cause she needed a break. After the break I was out of condoms so I busted a nut on her face and took her to get a taxi... Honestly I wish I would have stayed at the bar and watched the football game.

Quote:Budweiser’s Super Bowl ad might provide a powerful and timely message about the importance of immigration, but as far as historically accuracy goes, it falls as flat as a half-empty beer left over from last night’s rager.

At least, that’s the word from William Knoedelseder, the author of the 2014 book “Bitter Brew: The Rise and Fall of Anheuser-Busch and America’s King of Beer.”

“It’s got wonderful production values, it’s very expensive and, I think, very effective — and mostly fiction,” Knoedelseder told Slate.

The commercial, which has gained resonance due to the current debate over President Trump’s travel ban, tells the story of Anheuser-Busch co-founder Adolphus Busch, who immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in the 1850’s.

The commercial follows Busch from his time traveling across the Atlantic, to his less than warm welcome to America, to jumping off of a flaming riverboat, to finally arriving in St. Louis to begin brewing beer.

In his interview with Slate’s Sam Adams (if that is indeed his real name), Knoedelseder took exception to the notion that Busch encountered hostility upon arriving in America.

“Adolphus Busch did not arrive poor and struggling. He was from a fairly well-to-do, successful family. He wasn’t tremendously wealthy, but it would be highly doubtful that he encountered whatever that was at the beginning with him jumping off the boat and people shouting at him,” the author said. “He arrived with a ticket and had his own money. Unless they got a hold of some letters from his family, I don’t know where they get all that information. It’s not something that anyone that’s written about Anheuser-Busch has ever seen before.”

Knoedelseder added that German immigrants in the mid-1800s likely wouldn’t have faced anti-immigrant prejudice of the same magnitude as “the poor Irish who had to fight their way in block by block. By the time he got to St. Louis, there was a very sizable German population there. They all arrived in America with money, and deference comes with cash.”

While the ad has gained widespread attention due to current events, Budweiser vice president Ricardo Marques denied that the ad was intended as political commentary in an interview with Ad Week.

“There’s really no correlation with anything else that’s happening in the country,” Marques said. “We believe this is a universal story that is very relevant today because probably more than any other period in history today the world pulls you in different directions, and it’s never been harder to stick to your guns.”

Normally I hate betting on the pats, but +150 was just too generous.

As the saying goes, I'd rather be lucky than good.

I've never been so proud to be from Massachusetts. Can we get rid of Elizabeth Warren now too?

Just like I said. Pats win. Crazy game.

Went to a lounge in Atlanta and I was like 1/10 Pats fan. Even though Falcons are my second fav team. That comeback was almost impossible. Two touchdowns and two point conversions. Crazy game. Tom Brady is the GOAT.

Will buy a Tom Brady jersey tomorrow.

Hahaha! Epic as fuck. The symbolism was real on this one. Not only are the Patriots by far the whitest team in the NFL, they are led by a legendary coach who publicly supported Donald Trump and by the greatest QB of all time who also supports Donald Trump. And Trump wanted them to win.

This is the biggest bitchslap the shitlibs have received since Nov. 8!

Kermit

(That Edelman catch on the game tying drive was beyond sick)

So 40% white vs 20%?

Not sure what that has to do with it.

The symbolism comes from the white elitist nature of Boston the city, not the team. The team carries that aura with them just like the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins. People still view the Celtics with that aura even though the team is largely black. IT is just a stain on Boston the city, not on the teams.

This was Boston -- White Chowder town vs Atlanta -- Chocolate City. Literally White America mecca vs Black America mecca. That was the very basic symbolism of it all which is why people are all freaking out. I would leave the players out of it as most of them, if not all of them are above that. Both sides were bands of brothers tonight on both sides of the field and are celebrating, or being retrospective together as a collective regardless of shades.

The only hack that is unique with the Patriots is that Belicheck loves undersized slot receivers who more times than not are white.

My football days were great with a great group of dudes of all backgrounds who had each others back. I always view that sports can help bring people together and create bonds. You got dudes from poor ass Alabama and limousine kids that maybe grew up with Cali with everything handed to them but they all can find common ground in being teammates. It is just a human thing that I hold dear. Not everything has to be black and white.

I thought Ryan gave a very nice "Ah, you know, we ah, they're a really strong team, and ah you know, just ah things happened couldn't score as many points as the other team ahhh"-type of locker room interview after the game.

The commercials were some of the worst Super Bowl commercials I've seen in a long time. Hard to believe anyone spent money on most of them; I didn't even know what that AB commercial was until it was almost over. Thought it was an ad for a new season of Penny Dreadful.

Lady GaGa is getting a gunt.
