Great piece. I was actually impressed that there were women that stepped up and admitted that the problem with desire was theirs, and that it wasn't something their partner did that was causing the problem. They recognized a problem, and wanted to find a solution to make things better in their relationships.

These quotes struck me in particular...

You never get a chance to miss each other. Instead, you're looking forward to the opposite - getting away from them. And when you're away, you're not really missing them, but dreading going back. The smartest couples always do their own thing, some going so far as to take separate vacations, as well as vacations together. Actually I remember Louis CK making a similar point in one of his specials.

Still - I would trouble to have a sex drive with alot of the women stuck in long marriages. So - it works both ways.

But women still have lower sex drives since it is not like they are using vibrators and fantasizing instead. A third of them (at the very least) just switch off all together. Or never even had it in the first place.

Again - I think it is evolution at work. And evolution's way of trying to ensure responsible mothers. Just another reason why being a woman is so dull.

Women aren't supposed to have the same sex drives as men. Every survey of men and women reveals that the female gender thinks of sex much less often than men, is much less likely to have casual sex, is less disposed to consume pornography, and is more comfortable being celibate for extended periods of time.

Women have no evolutionary impulse to reproduce during nine full months of pregnancy. Imagine over the course of evolution how multiple periods of nine month sterility for each woman would impact female libido. It goes without saying that it'd be extraordinarily feeble compared to that of men, which is indeed what we observe.

I had a girlfriend i lived with and I stopped wanting sex with her. She was bitchy and so irritable that I couldn't talk to her about the irritability or it just started another bitching fit.

I think a lot of guys are stuck in situations like that if they're not players. The women have no insight into the fact their disagreeable personality and behavior is pushing the guy away.

Women absolutely have the same drive as men, they just don't always act on it as often or in the same ways. My girl will straight up tell me she's feeling "frisky" a few times a week minimum. The difference is sex comes easy to women, it's just a matter of location, circumstance, and saying "okay."
