So ive decided to visit Asia for a month in April shortly after i return from Argentina. Im not sure which country in Asia to visit. Ive got it narrowed down to Japan, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia.

Need help in deciding on a country / city. Looking for decent nightlife, alil culture, plenty of women, and a beach within driving distance would be a plus.

What would be the best route for a 3 week vacation in Philippines or Indonesian . ( I just started this new job and only get 3 weeks off in a year )

can you give a brief description of them countries and why you recommend those two. which is best out of those two?

you can check out the thread 'the real asian deal', and there are threads about both thailand and phillies as well.

I have been to all places except indonesia, and I can wholeheartedly recommend all three. Japan is way more expensive, but has got everything you look for. So does Thailand. Philippines is an interesting country, but has not got a lot of 'sights' as in museums and religious buildings, and the food is terrible compared to the two other options.

I'm a fan of the Philippines, it's cheap, has beautiful scenery, and the women LOVE foreigners. Aside from some Spanish Churches and WWII sites there isn't much in the way of sight-seeing aside from natural wonders. Not a bad place to shop either especially if you want some nice knock-offs for your friends back home.

The food isn't as good as Thailand but there IS good food to be had. Actually Filipino breakfast and baked goods are pretty damn good.

ALSO ENGLISH IS SPOKEN EVERYWHERE.

with indonesia being a muslim country how hard is it to lay the local girls? this seems like a potential problem. i know u can get laid in thailand and the philippines no problem.

I keep on reading on this forum Indonesia mentioned by a few as being a very worthy place to visit. Can you guys who have been to Indonesia post a break down of it? that would be very highly appreciated.

I was in the same boat as you looking for that relaxing place which is light on the wallet and overwhelmingly, seems that Thailand is the place to go specially if this will be your first time in Asia.
