12 Reasons Why People Don't Obtain Financial Success

checkbook do the thinking instead of asking, “If it were to get done,
how could I do it?”

Decent list, it's all about setting SMART goals then following through with them.

I'd add to that a few things which can help with goal achievement in any area: starting habits using small steps eg first goal is to earn £10/month on the side, then £50 and keep building it up.

Also creating social pressure for yourself by putting your goal on Stickk, social media and telling anyone you see can massively increase your own investment in succeeding.
